In BCA you would have your choice after the break assuming you pot a ball. In APA you must take the set of 7 that you get of the break (unless you pot one of each +). In world rules pool if you pot off the break you can either choose to remain that colour and carry on OR you can nominate the other colour but you must pot it in order to be on that colour. If you miss then it's an open table.

well, its easy actually - playing 8th ball using snooker cue ;) where Im playing snooker/pool its illigal using snooker cue when your are playing 9th/8th ball. cheers from pl. anyway - very nice shots and positional play.

This is just sorry. Ya the guy is decent but if you want to show you can run the table do it with the balls you hit in on the break.
Whats the matter dident want to paly the 4yellow balls on the rails b/c you couldnet run the table?

World rules: If you put something off the break you can nominate to play the other colour. Failure to nominate a colour is a foul :)
So yes he didn't feel the yellows were playable so he went red :)

Didn't notice that , good spot. Hmmm maybe another rule set with the old layout has a smiler nominate rule for the break. I only play world so i dunno.
