There are 2 ways to fight the bad ending boss. The first way is to get all but 1 or 2 Elemental Stones (Light and/or Dark). The second is in the fight with Lilith/Mihael, fight her until she starts using her 1 hit KO attack (the yellow aura) and die from that attack, the fight ends with Bomberman dying but the stones resurrect him.
Um yeah.. When I was fighting the very very last boss, I had no idea how to fight it. So I could of gotten the good ending if I did not turn off the N64 grr.. =(
You get to fight the "Angel" when fufilling your objective: collectng all of the elemental crystals. If you should skip getting one or both of the final ones, however (since the final level is accessible at the same time as the shadow/light worlds), you get the "bad" ending, and fight this bad boy. It's been a while since I last played, so I'm not COMPLETELY certain...
Agreed. I think the biggest mistake was making fire bombs be used on 3d maps. So lame...half the time your bombs missed for no reason. And that island map sucked...more than the rest of them sucked. B man 64 > TSA > Hero in fun value.
man i sucked at this fight. i hope this game come out for the virtual console!, i collected all that armor also. and i found a glitch to make bomberman red before you fight rukefielth!

I found the Angel to be easier than Sthertoth's second form. I never got the timing right for damaging him.
