besides, to say it in spanish is just one more subtle detail: if he had said it in english he would be telling it to everyone.

the phrase "el cielo es azul" (the sky is blue) is not nonsense"; watch out, it's not even obvious. the whole thing says "el cielo es azul, just don't go telling everyone". which i undestand as "yes, the sky is blue and great, but the greatest thing is to asimilate it as profound knowledge". or something like that... i feel very lucky to have run into him, he is fresh blood to music.

Amazing like always. I thought "el cielo es azul" fit perfectly in the song though - For everything that is distorted or seen unclear in the song is summed up by saying hey, things may seem one way, but "the sky is blue" It is as clarifying as the eagle on the pole.
