The only shooters I ever really liked were Turok 2 / Rage Wars and GoldenEye. Final Fantasy 6 is in my top 3 favorite games of all-time. Some of my other favorites (within my top 10 or so) are Panzer Dragoon Saga, Super Metroid, Streets of Rage 2, the 1st Vigilante 8 (n64 version), Darius Gaiden, and all of the PS1 Armored Core games... and you know what? I think FF13 sucks. Your biggest problem is that you don't understand literary elements and how to recognize good or bad writing.
