I'll check it out, the RainX I just put on doesn't seem to be working. Actually jiffy lube put it on, or did they? We've only had about two rains in the past 5 months so I don't think it was washed off.
that rain just beads up really nice on ur flat windshield! the water does stay on it but i can see very clear! good review and even better application with ur window being the way it is. great job!
I use rain X washer solvent, never have to reapply, starts to wear off just use your squirters and wipers.. it more than 5 bucks a gallon but easy to use and works great.but ill give this a try.. Thanks
I like the automotive vids! Most likely in a bugout scenario, we will be using our cars. I drove a tow tuck for two years and found that most people have no way to help themselves, no blankets, no candles, only a super bmw that never breaks down (LOL) and cellphone. In a bugout situation, calling CAA or AAA will be out of the question. Carry ropes and ratchet hoists. AND LEARN HOW TO CHANGE YOUR OWN FLAT TIRE, GIRLS DIG IT!
I am getting a very similar result from using the spray on Turtle Wax that is used after washing and before drying your car. I use it on the entire vehical including the windshield.

Just put rain-x on last week and noticed also that it already needs to be reapplied after the rains lately. Might have to look into this.

Nice, Yeah rain-x wears off pretty quick. I wonder if it would do anything for door seals in freezing rain.
