Within the last 200 years new breeds of dogs have sprung up through selective breeding, much more diversity can be accounted for in 1000s of years.

Say there were one subspecies of bear on one continent and another subspecies of bear on another continent, it doesn't mean both subspecies went onto the ark. You are confusing subspecies and kinds. Just because bears were on the ark doesn't mean that ALL variations of bears were included.

It would seem to me that they would know how to build boats. Wouldn't they also take some of the animals with them? Wouldn't that be why some fossils look different form animals today? The pre-flood civilization was neither primitive nor xenophobically tribal in nature. There is archeological evidence that early man, before and after the flood, had a global trade system. So the answer is that animals got to different continents the same way they do today, they were brought to reserves and zoos by boat or plane.

There are also ancient writings that describe the view from the moon and describe its surface so well that you'd think a modern astronaut wrote the descriptions.
