@zeebomockingbird It doesn't seem to matter. The biggest deciding factor for these MMA fights is usually stamina and technique. I've seen really muscular guys get bested by someone that looks out of shape.

@whizbangify Interesting. I would think that all other things being equal, being really lean and more muscular would be an advantage (assuming you could maintain flexibility). Like, wouldn't Mitrione have been even more viscious if he replaced the fat with more muscle?

@null303 I didn't mean to imply that they have no muscle. I'm just wondering if the fat is advantageous in some way. If I could trade fat for equally weighted muscle, it seems like a net gain. The only benefit I can see to having the fat is that it might cushion some blows, which may indeed be important. This guy on the screen with the yellow hair right now is more of what I'd expect.

Video finally showed up after a couple of retries. 720p on a 40" sony GTV shows pixelation and doesnt compare to HD content from dishnetwork content.

Feed quality generally good, had a few delays, but once it stabilize I got a good consistent stream through my connection and I can jump back and forth from full screen to small very quickly and efficiently.

Also, if I go to see all the comments and then come back to the stream, it automatically drops down back to 360p from 720p, as a user I would prefer if it stayed at 720p so I don't have to move up each time.

The first time I tried to switch to 720p, i received a message saying that I had to rent it first.. I refreshed the whole page, and then was able to switch to 720p.

Yes, that would be good or the ability to look at other related clips that can surround the live feed that have been pre-selected from content that already lives on the site or content we can load up from UFC that gives fighter interviews or a deeper dive on each of the fighters or their stats.

It would be way cool if there were optional streams available to fill the break spaces. Since we don't have ads, there is a lot of almost dead time (that I'm used to jumping past on Tivo etc.). It would be nice to have auto-switching in/out of support material as the fights went (for example: pause the secondary feed when a fight resumes, etc.)

Very nice at 720p... no pixelation during the fights, but lots during scans of the troops (audience). I've had a few freezes, where I needed to reload the page, but they never seem to happen during the fight. Does the feed change somehow at those points?? At least one freeze appeared just after a tap!
