i think the highschain i ever got was 16 and i never got that high again it was hard too cus the time gets shorter and shorter and shorter till its like less than a second to make a move

If by "buy," you mean using your LP to purchase it on your license board, then yes,. The one you buy depends on which character's board you buy it on.

Each character has a max of three Quickenings to purchase on their board. There are 18 total, but once one has been purchased, it's removed from view on other people's boards. (but it's free to use for that character you 'purchased' it for.)

lol i cant even use a quickinng. im a nub at that game. like, i bought 1 with the liscense points but i cant use it its just grey when i press mist. someone help?

Well here are some tips: Make sure the person you bought it for is in your active party and that they have full MP before starting the chain. You can tell because the MP bar will look gold when full.

also, i had a chain of 79 when i used this, some of it was by accident, i just hit random buttons a couple times and it took like .00000002 seconds every time for me to hit another button, eventually i got bored and said whatever its dead and stopped going and let the last second drain out

My highest chain was 27. Sometimes you get lucky, other times you fail. It's all about luck and quick reflexes.

The most Damage i've ever done with quickening was 56,000. I trigger the last concurrence of course.

19 was my best... -.- and it was on that STUPID elder wyrm boss... got a 17 hit quickening chain with Vaan Balthier and Fran, then got a 19 hit quickening chain with Basch Ashe and Penelo... both of them together took off like 25% ofthat damn things health.. and all the characters had lvl 3 quickenings... trained for FOUR DAYS... then i find out that elder wyrm is OPTIONAL...

I don't understand how people find chain Quickenings hard... Just use a Quickening when at least 2 people in the party have full MP and have the Quickening learned.

it doesn't take much concentration to pull off a good chain, just luck when it comes to Mist charges. I think my record was like 16 or so and I got a Black Hole concurrence. That was straight luck since the Charges fell in place for me

i killed judge gjis with just two quickenings at level 14 my max ever gotten quick combo is ten

As long as you go after the quickenings early the game falls to its knees. Doing 23,000 damage to Judge Ghis with a 14 hit combo was fun LOL.

I was just kidding dude - I know. It's that white chocobo called the Trickster that runs around the map area, while your party members get inflicted with Doom from one of its attacks. When the Trickster is at near-death with only 1/6 of it's life remaining, physical attacks do no damage to it either - I had to cast Drain constantly to successfully kill it.
