I Love Guns N' Roses, they're my favorite band... I mean Axl,Slash,Duff,Izzy or Gilby and Steven or Matt. It's really sad that Steven was kicked out of the band but in my opinion, Matt Sorum has a better style for the UYI albums.. But Steven was perfect for Appetite..

Steven Adler was fired from GNR in 1990 becuase of his drug problem. One year later, Izzy Stradlin quit the band. His reason for doing so was because of Axls strange behavior, together with Slash, Sorum and Duffs drug abuse.

GNR did a 28 months long world tour that ended in 1993, and that was the last time Slash, Duff and Sorum would play a live show with the Axl. Officially did Slash quit the band in 1996, Sorum got fired in 1997, while Duff resigned from the band later that year.

@carmenlita666 That is a sad end to a good band. The most creative minds are vulnerable and abuse substances. I know because i would use nearly any drug put in front of me for six years. I quit everything cold turkey, and cut my ties with all my friends that partied hard.

Duff's clean now, and in better shape than he's ever been. The guy has always repeated himself when he talks, so i dont think that's because of the drugs, i think that's just how he is.. Steven is also clean (for the time being) now, he played drums on some tracks on slash's new solo album, although you can see that drugs took its toll harder on him, compared to duff and slash.. but duff's main enemy was alcohol
