  • We do not need a political party to elect defenders of Liberty. Allow candidates to enter the race without endorsing a party. Limited government cannot be sustained if the party system exists. End the Party!

  • Sarah a pretty bitch. Neocon sbstitution for Bush. Or the one should read dumb for dumber.

  • Neocons are SCUM, the current democrat/republican machine is controlled by them and people like them. If they hijack the movement, it'll be another rinse and repeat. But this time, something big has happened, USA is bankrupt, so it won't be as easy to shut the people up this time.

  • House Ethics rules prevented Ron Paul from speaking at the For-Profit Tea Party Convention. Also, the organizers did not try to seek him out.

  • Check out the video of me in my favorites section from when I went to a neocon "tea" party in Raleigh.....neocon through and through....

  • Ron Paul should have been the key note speaker. What was all that stuff about "Revolution".

He finally has a populous movement firmly behind him, and doesn't even show up? Now we have Palin slithering in to co-opt the movement he started?

    WTF?

Palin is a NeoCon whore. She's like Glen Beck. They're media created clowns used to embarrass and redirect populous movements.

  • Ron Paul likes to talk about fighting back through the power of ideas, yet when presented with an opportunity to stand on that stage and give a speech of historic proportions, he doesn't even show up!?

I smell something REALLY fishy. This goes beyond their attempts to embarrass teaparty independents by proclaiming Palin as our voice.

The only reason Ron Paul's comments on the Teaparty are true is because he's abandon them.

  • ? He is kind of busy doing his job and taking care of his own campaign for the House. Palin quit her job to write a book and travel the road. Your and a bit off on your reasoning.

He didn't abandon the tea party. The neocons are trying to hijack it.

  • he didn't feel like doing it obviously. this is a personal preference as much as anything. ron is known for stubbornly not doing what he doesn't like. he's a living person and not some lifeless token of freedom in your fantasy land, perhaps you should look less so much to some monolithic leader for your daily conspiracy entertainment needs. 'doesn't feel like doing it' is quite a distance away from 'this is a giant scheme of conspiracy'.

  • "he didn't feel like doing it obviously"

Exactly, my question is why? I suggest you ask yourself the same thing over the next few weeks as they prance this Neocon Palin around, and the media defines her as the voice of conservative and independent voters.

You can insult me all you want. Ron Paul went to CPAC instead of defending his movement from the Neocons.

So enjoy your Palin 2012 bumper stickers, and remember me when you realize that how badly you were abandon.

  • These are the strength of the Tea Party:

    i) the US constitution

    ii) the number

iii) It's not a real political party such as GOP or Dem

iv) It's loose organization; there is no centralization in it, but it has the core philosophy: the constitution, small gov't, etc

    v) Both GOP & Dem are shits

So, if the Tea Party joins GOP or Dem, then it loses all the strength, except possibly ii).

I'm not sure about this convention; Sarah Palin is in it but Ron Paul isn't. That says a lot about this convention.

  • Its a SICK JOKE that Palin is there and Ron Paul is not. She is just a Republican tool they want to use to co-opt the Tea Party Movement.

  • A war-mongering tool at that.

  • yes they deserve to die, i hope they burn in hell!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Isn't it possible to impeach a president for lying? For perjury in a big way?

  • it is not possible today. the president is nothing but a pimp and we have all gotten bitch slap ... and the beat go's on.

  • Open a new internet channel with direct access to Congress and the White house, a channel on which people, the "people," can express their views and demands directly, not through happenstance "leaders."

  • Go Paul with love from Sweden

  • GO Sweden with love from kixdirtsevin

  • "Grass roots or Weeds" was the headline on CNN... unbelievable how they discredit this movement. I do hope people can rise above the rhetoric and stay focused.

  • i am so disgusted over the hijacking of legitimate grass roots. sarah freaking palin. puhlease. i have rejected the tea party since its takeover by the warmongers.

i am even skeptical of Ron now. but...at least he remains consistent.

  • What has Ron Paul said or done to make you skeptical of him? If he is consistently supporting individual Liberty & the Constitution.... then how would that make one skeptical? Are you skeptical of his intentions? Of the moral justification for his positions? Of his ability to remain consistent in thought, speech, and action?

  • Ron Paul REALLY needs to comment on the fact that the flag ship tea party in Nashville has become a political fundraiser for Dick Armey and his "Freedomworks," who is about as establishment as it gets. Just watching Channel 5 in Nashville I've become completely disgusted with the fact that the so-called independent tea party here has drawn local establishment (generally neoconservative) Repubs trying to trampoline off the tea party's name.

  • so start something new. LOL Dick Armey lol..

  • YIKES. I was skeptical of YOU... until i listened to Palin's speech. My apologies Mr.TS. You have know what is going on. Palin does not support Individual Rights & Liberty as the purpose of a just government. She ignores the true meaning of the Tea Party & is trying to hijack it. She supports "the Will of the People" & Obama's increased war-mongering. She thinks Tea-Partiers are "upset w/ spending". Clueless-or worse- but in any case, not a RonPaul, and NO FRIEND of Liberty & the CONSTITUTION.

  • if we did not stay skeptical of even Ron Paul we would not be doing our job. and i have watch your videos , girl you do your job.

  • So, what's your conclusion so far?

  • i like all he has to say . i love his voting record BUT i will stay skeptical and keep a close eye on the C4L..

  • Good.

  • @kixdirtsevin eh....

If the support for the guy in CO bothers you.. I would suggest you do further research. Namely Mr. Nystrom at the dailypaul.

  • I am so upset that our grass roots got hijacked by the big govt. neocons.

  • I hope Ron Paul's message permeates the Tea Party movement.

  • That my friend, is up to us.

  • @enduro0276 Yes to Ron Paul, no to Sarah Palin.

  • thank you for posting

  • Two thumbs up.
