I looooooveee this movement, it's amazing.

Beethoven had a gift for expression. Anytime I listen to something of his, it just makes me think about how I feel, memories, etc etc.

I learned it just by myself and all the musical theory knowledge to play this poor movie by myself too.

Just years after that I started learning music on a school.

I made a review some time ago, and yes, by the time I was playing this piece I lost some few notes at the begining of the march (notes that accent the march) but compasses no.. lol.. ^^

And remember, there are some parts, depending the score you have, that have more or less notes in the harmony (although it's the same piece). I still found a "better" score last month but not having time to practice it right now.

Good Job Dude. I just started to play piano. I'm starting out with hard stuff though. I just finished learning to play Michael Nyman's Heart asks Pleasure First. That took me forever but well worth it. Now I'm gonna tackle this and will probably use your playing as a resource reference in addition to the Lizst transcription. Amazing!

Just watched Yoyo Ma's chamber music version and the symphony version, no one is better than another since it is equally soul touching. To say it brings tears to one's eye would only be an understatement. However, just listening to the piano's sound, I feel like my life is so attached to piano that if I cannot play great pieces like this or Rachmaninoff's third concerto, I don't know if I would die satisfied no matter how much achievement I make in my life. I just LOVE this music.. It's not a Glenn Gould's interpretation, but it's "digestible" I think..

The left hand "jumps" are the most difficult part I believe. ^^

I believe the other movements are more difficult, this one has this hardeste part at the climax shown in the movie, but nothing as successive repetitions to improve it. The other parts of this moviment (not shown in the movie) are just slow counterpoint.. Difficult to memorize, but not to play. :D
