its not quite traditional adhoc as we know it...this is much more sophisticated. If you look at the internals of this spec...it is derived from the infrastructure mode which quite full fledged for a spec when compared to an adhoc spec...which is not quite a complete spec... and is not that popular ... because of its primitiveness

Agreed the video is "cute" but not really exciting. This is:

Bluetooth 10 meters - WiFi 100 meters

Bluetooth 800Kbps - WiFi 11Mbps

@reibroker Bluetooth is so lousy because antenna is not included in bluetooth routers. If you add an antenna to a bluetooth dongle, you can expect 100m which is normal, since bluetooth uses the same frequency as wifi. Speed wise is a software limitation.

Do you honestly think this video is aimed at people like you, who understand bluetooth as well as other methods of wirelessly connecting devices? If you understood it by just reading about it, you probably wouldn't need any help from this video.
