Yes, God calls us to care for the poor & to "love thy neighbor as thy self," however it is a call to Christians in the Great Commission to "make disciples of all nations, teaching them all I have commanded and I will be with you even until the end of the age." With Muslims, Hindus, Buddhists, Atheists, Government, etc, the crucial message is not Jesus Christ and Him crucified. Many will be converted to all other religions PLUS Christianity. God doesn't call us for this UNHOLY UNION.

What is meant for evil will be turned to good. I don't see a problem with getting people with bad motivations to do good. It is not right to sit around waiting for the second coming to fix all of our problems. Faith without good works is dead. 1. power (how many sheep does this good pastor shepard?)
2. money or profit (how much the the purpose driven life sell for?)
