I looked at the moon today ... watched it set into the Gulf of Mexico ... and it wasn't gray. It was yellow then orange and finally red.

The moon is beautiful. Especially from the Earth. Not so much from the moon. There isn't any birds or flowers or dolphins on the moon.

They sweat and tie their shoes and make mistakes like anyone does -- and they DON'T know all the secrets of the universe like TV characters do. There have been numerous landings on the moon by Apollo spacecraft. Many soil samples have been colected.

Where and what are the results?

How come a spectrometer can bring more answers, than people collecting samples on the Moon itself? I do understand that landing locations where the limiting factor, but still, it's mind boggling!

Those results point to the Earth and Moon having a common origin.

It dates the Earth-Moon system at around 4.5 billion years.

The results are ALL OVER... a simple search (and once you get through all the religious disinformation in said searches) you can find the answers... Wikipedia is a good place to start.

A spectra analyzer can sample wider area in a time unit. I uses energy absorption, from light, in the materials to calculate the materials contained there...

Not everyone says "um", "er" or "ah" when they hesitate while speaking. It depends upon the language.

For example, speakers of Mandarin Chinese often say"zhege" which roughly translates as this. In English we say "um", "er", "ah", or other vocalisations for reasons that linguists are not entirely sure about. "Um", "er", and ah contain what linguists call "neutral vowel sounds" making them among the easiest sounds to make.
