Ye, that right. It was cool that he could play this caracter so well. Yes all the actors in TDK did a great job, they are brilliant examples. The hole project was amazing. Great manuscript and directing by Nolan. This concept was a big hit. It's feel's like it's a lot of actors that is bigger as actors then bale, but bale is better, in fact maybe the best! He is the one that could play the role as John Connor.

Nick Stahl was the worst possible choice for Connor, not because he's a bad actor, but because he was poorly cast. Stahl is too mousy, and appears insipid and weak in the Connor role.

Connor is a military leader, and would be incredibly strong and charismatic. Stahl is not. Terminator 3 was the worst film I saw in 2003.

T4, will likely be no better. But personally, there are only three actors I think who could play Connor: Christian Bale, Viggo Mortensen or Edward Norton.
