Noooo...these awards were always on NBC, majority of winners were NBC people. That's why Melody rolled her eyes. Nobody else was NBC...so yeah Deidre was going to win. Don't believe me? Look at the winners on Wikipedia. It was always NBC people winning. Thats why these awards stoped being broadcasted. They were a joke. Soap opera update awards were more credible.

@nsimpson76 No, see the comment I just posted. I'm surprised people even showed up. The Soap digest awards were a joke. Melody isn't a bitch, it's common knowledge that it was on NBC...Days people ruled these awards...Look at the other video someone posted of this same clip. Almost everyone that commented acklnowledged that the SOD awards were a Days free-for-all...Sorry if I sound rude, but aren't YOU being bitchy and rude by insinuating Melody is rude? Just my oppinion.

Hmmmm...whats going on here, Drake says, as long as his wife thinks he's HOT, thats all that matters...Deidre's says, her hubby LOVES her, even when she's being a DEVIL...I wonder if this a cover up for the both of them...

Ha-ha. My theory is they dated a bit when he first came on the show, but both married other people (in Deidre's case she married ALOT, lol). She now says they were not friends outside of the studio, which is prob b/c their spouses forbid it, LOL.

I love how at 1:32-1:34 Melody Thomas Scott said Deidre Hall when she won!! It's so predictable...she's that AWESOME!!! I love her and will miss her always!!!
