He doesn't really care much about following rules or doing the right thing if it's a pain in the ass or an inconenience for himself. He'll do good, but at the end of the day he'd rather just dick about.
@gopherdude I think he is chaotic good because he often does things that strictly go against a lawful good nature. For example, this video, when he wanted to kill the horse, when he suggested him and finn should become cannibals, when he lied to the witch to get his powers back, and his apethy about stealing.
