Sorry man, not trying to be judgmental or rude in any way. I just think its much better for a musician to learn by ear, no matter how far along they are. I started with tabs, they are helpful, but after a certain amount of time, they become a crutch. My friend has been playing more than 5 years, but he still uses tabs and has almost no ear. After a certain amount of time you have to start using those ears.
