  • I love and hate you guys, at the same time. ;) I try, on a regular basis, to find bias on your videos. I fail miserably 98% of the time. :) Congratulations on being levelheaded and equally biting to each side, even my own. :)

  • This is one of the most important shows on youtube. I can't believe the views are so low. Shame on you YouTube for not promoting such relevant material! These webcasts should be viewed by millions, not hundreds! Get it out there!!

  • i think it's more commonly viewed on its website. but yeah, i also agree that the views are too low considering how high the views are for some of these other stupid campaign videos.

  • If Obama thinks that Iran is tiny compared with the Soviets, then he needs to look up what century we're in. Iran is big enough to hurt the U.S. and that's all that matters.

  • Do you see the irony of misstating facts on the factcheck channel?

  • i'm confused by your tactics...

are you saying that I misstated facts or that the channel did?

  • The USSR had a plethora of nukes, all of which could reach the US. Iran has none. They haven't even begun enriching uranium.

  • have you missed the stories about iran setting up deals with russia to enrich uranium? if all we're hearing about is the deal, what do you think is going on that we don't hear about?

  • I'm aware, they still haven't enriched it yet. And they're still a ways away from a nuke, much less one that could reach the US. You're missing the point. To insinuate that Iran poses a threat anywhere near the level of the USSR is a joke.

Iran isn't a bunch of terrorists. We'll allow their president to visit our country and address Americans, but our own leaders can't talk with them? The notion that not talking with them is somehow protecting us is ridiculous. NOT talking is more dangerous.

  • Do we want to wait until Iran IS capable of launching a weapon at us, or should we nip it in the bud? hmmmmm. Also, our political leaders don't invite him to the country, our leftist university deans do. Also, the UN in New York. Talking to him legitamizes what he says. Our top leaders can't do that. We know he wants to harm our allies, and is seeking nuclear enrichment...it's not hard to piece that puzzle together. We must be prepared to act first, and hope it doesn't come to that.

  • I agree, we shouldn't wait. But I think resolving the situation through dialog between our leaders is the best way to go about it. If Iran is so dangerous we could have prevented their president from coming in our boarders. We talked to Saddam in the 80's, was he legit? We used diplomacy with North Korea. It's a huge double standard. We're initiating the standoff by claiming they're not legit.

I respect your opinion but I think you're paranoid. How do you resolve disputes if you don't talk? War

  • Don't see the either campaign is especially good at seeking or measuring feedback on intentionally misleading ads; but, it's my opinion that on balance, McCain's campaign makes makes far more of them, and neglects to pull them when they've been exposed.

  • Not showing up to Dave i think really showed that. I mean why did he lie about not showing up?

  • I agree that the caveat exist on the 100 year term, but it doesn't change the argument that his Iraq policy is flawed. If our soldiers are not in harms way, then what in the hell are we doing in a sovereign nation that does not want our occupation. Oil? Is there a good reason? I don't think so, thus, the argument holds true.

  • if the war was for oil...why don't we see gas prices plummeting? or see troops guarding oil fields in our sphere of occupation and actively trying to capture other oil fields outside that area? seems to me that our mission is not oil

  • Americans are being hurt and killed NOW - that is what war is all about. I think the average citizen interpreted McCain's comment exactly as he intended it.

He also said staying 100 years was okay with him and hoped it was okay with us -- look at the war's approval rating and tell me how he possibly thinks it is okay with us.

  • Although I don't support McCain, I just wanted to point out Obama said McCain said he would stay there 100 years. McCain only said he would stay there as long as it was necessay. At least that's what I heard on one of the fact checking things.

  • There appears to be a sense of partisanship in your videos. It may be retaliatory due to McCain's misrepresentation of your past work, but the criticisms of the Obama campaign seem fewer and far between. As an Obama supporter, I know that there is a lake of errs that you could report on, and I can tell these have not been attacked in the videos. I don't read your website though, and perhaps it's just the videos that sound skewed.
