  • Yes it's the beep

  • thyssen krupp purchased dover elevators in 1999

  • not really rare because they properly were modernized. Dover i same as thysenkrupp but thyssenkrupp is newer they used the same buttons for a while and they have the same bell and buzz.

  • There's a Dover freight elevator and ThyssenKrupp passenger that I filmed on one of my UAMS videos.

  • That elevator sounds like a microwave.

  • I had to be Dover. TK just put their name plate in placement of Dover.

  • I think that is not.

  • Its a Dover, ThyssenKrupp probably just modernized it,or when they came in for repairs, put their name plate over it. After all, TK did buy Dover out.

  • Look at my ThyssenKrupp video of the freight elevator, that thing is definitly a freight elevator and its so huge, you could throw a party in it and also the capacity is 12000 pounds, and the biggest elevator ive ever seen

  • Watch my video at the Embassy Suites in San Juan they Dover signs at the bottom of the doors and Thyssenkrupp signs on the floor indicators

  • Misspelled: Thyssenkrupp -> ThyssenKrupp

  • Thyssenkrupp-> Thyssenkrapp!

  • Maybe the Freight elevator must of been damaged, vandalized or basically broke after ThyssenKrupp bought out Dover. Therefore, since the elevator probably used to have Dover markings, it was fixed and modernized by ThyssenKrupp while the other ones weren't. That's maybe why the the freight elevator is marked as ThyseenKrupp and the passenger ones are still marked as Dover.

  • captainelevator is right dover used to make the plates for these and thyssenkrupp has them in storage for the dovers that have these fixtures in case they become damaged or stolen

  • A new school was built here, a high school, and they have ThyssenKrupp elevators, with these fixtures...I thought they discontinued these.

  • Well, these replacement plates, that has the emergency light, nameplate, and capacity were once made by Dover, and then they were made by ThyssenKrupp, so they can be replaced if the old one gets discolored or lost.
