The This American Life episode concerning this case recently aired again. I wonder why Ira Glass didn't mention this particular news story when he did an update. This story sheds new light on the case.
I first heard about this story on This American Life. You know, if the murder rate in the '80s topped 1000; I could see how the DA's office could be motivated to put ANYONE in prison for a murder. By itself, the TAL story is not flattering to your father. However, combined with this; it becomes very convincing that Roberto DaSilva is a damned liar. I would have come to your website three years ago had I known not to try to spell your dad's first name with an E.
