@Pimpmayn117 do not get on accutane if at all possible. My sister was on it and she ended up with intestinal problems that led to having her galbladder removed.  She was in terrible health for over a year. Just my two cents.

@Pimpmayn117 it may/may not. I was on it for about 6 months and my skin completely cleared up, but post accutane about 6 months, and my skin started to get acne again. What is worse is now 10 months later, my cystic acne is back :( not sure if i should go on 2nd round treatment

@rararlalar well it usually does come back a little but i have never heard that bad.. try to go for a second round :/ it may suck but its worth it.. hope u get better :)

actually, what the ice is doing is it freezes the infected part letting the white blood cell to fight the bacteria that's inside the acne. :) dont hold it just for 2 minutes but hold it as long as you can. :)

My mother has worked in derm basically her entire life! - Cysts are painful, people don't want to just leave them in their skin - I understand you're trying to sell your product > but instead realize the severities of cystic acne - not everyone watching this has a tiny cyst they can just 'ice down'. what you guys need to do is reduce the oil produced by your body, i take vitamins to do this, look for vitamin B5 at GNC. Google it.

it really does take it down, i dont get many zits, but every once inawhile i get one around my jawline and there is no whitehead, its just a bump and i try and push it out but it wont, so just do what this lady sais it really does take it down

Also the cold may bring it down, but it will make it purple! An toothpaste will more than likely make things worse, put it on overnight an it will be even redder by the mornin!! Toothpaste burns, so screw those, ask for a dermatologist! (lotions an all that crap wont do much for cystic acne!)

Best thing to do for this is to go to a dermatologist!! They should prescribe roaccutane for cystic acne, i got it an it took ages (the guts of a year) but it did the job, now my skins clear!

i've been reading an awful lot about preventing cystic acne prevention. I really don't get many zits, but when I do, it's cystic. I eliminated caffeine over a year ago, I take zinc tablets daily, I gave up all dairy for the past month, and I try to eat healthy, I tone downed spicey foods, and try to eat food that is less in acid. I got a huge pimple last week cuz i drank pasteurized oj which. I wasn't sure that's what it was till i did the next day and another one showed up...i'm skeptical.

@champagne30 The most important thing that stopped my cystic acne was to stop eating fast food fried foods (except for Wendy's. Maybe they use a different oil, but I can eat them all day and get no pimple) and then also take omega oils. I believe that the acne occurs from the skin producing bad oils. If you get rid of your bad oil intake and increase your good oil intake, good results occur. At least for me. No cystic pimple in a year, I think! Good luck!!
