I like this comment. I agree the internet (can be) is a wonderful thing. We have all these wonderful performers at our disposal - summoned by our nimble hands rippling across the keyboard. This automated incantation conjures great titans of the artistic plane and binds them before our very eyes. In other words dam I like the choice some music channels allow on YouTube. Many many thanks coloraturafan! This is superb. Lucia has such a lovely velvety voice capable of great agility, precision and most importantly, warmth. This is one of her best roles alongside her Cenrentola, Italiana and Melibea. Her early demise is such a pity as she was so talented and instrumental in the Rossini renaissance. Thankfully her artistry is preserved in her legacy of recordings and videos for us to enjoy forever. I beseech the Rossini Opera Festival to release more of her DVDs

Did you listen to one of recordings as Malcolm in La Donna del lago? It is amazing. Especially in the production from Paris with Cuberli, Blake and Merritt.

Je me susi rendu compte que je me suis planté par rapport au message que j'ai écrit au-dessus, je ne suis pas cohérent avec l'année que vous avez donné. Excusez moi. La mise en scène est la même qu'à Pesaro en tout cas.

Ets-ce qu'il s'agit bien de la production de Pesaro de 1982? J'adore Horne dans cet air mais Valentini-Terrani est également une grande rossinienne, elle fait moins appel à son regsitre de poitrine, ce qui est plus beau. Pourriez vous poster d'autres extraits si vous pouvez de cette production? Merci.
