well when it starts its 5th stage then it almost equals your focused speed. timeout kicks in then it gets another one where it's a little greater than your fucused speed, meaning you have to let out of that key and fast, but the game slows down so that might not be a problem.

I was expecting a Supernova. You know, if you just let the sun gather mass, it'll eventually explode and like, kill you instantly regardless of how many lives you have. Punishment for timeout maniacs, haw haw.

....I still can't stop crying at how absurdly easy Utsuho's last spell is. I wonder if she was supposed to be a joke boss, it sure seems that way a lot of the time >_>

I found mine just by searching "Download [Name of Touhou game here]", and "Download [Name of Touhou game here] English patch". Old question is old, but I dont like seeing unanswered questions. :P

To my understanding, this stage actually IS there normally... but only during her death animation. Compensating for the dramatic end-of-game slowdown, it would probably actually only last for about 2 seconds, though. >_>

The point of the fifth stage is to thwart people who tries to evade the second, third, and so forth stage by timing it out.

This is exactly like Border of Life and Death, an "extra difficult" in the last thirty seconds to those who try to take it easy by timing the spell out.
