i started watching this when i was 5 because i thought the tunnel was awesome. i use to think it was the most awesome thing. i still remember when arturo died, and the dinosaur episode where quinn ate the worm haha. i just bought the first season, what nostalgia. all of a sudden the show dissappeared and I didn't know why

Best characters in the show were Quinn, Rembrandt, and Professor Arturo. You gotta love Rembrandt's humor. And you gotta love how Quinn is a super genius but he's still kind of stupid at the same time especially when it comes to girls lol. Not to mention Quinn's really cute.  :) When Professor Arturo was killed off I almost cried. And when Quinn was fused into Mallory I just stopped watching it all together. You can't kill off the main character that was just wrong. It ruined the show.

Season 3 was indeed (mostly) utter crap, though they brought it back to its alternate history/comedy Tracy Tormé-esque roots during Season 4 pretty nicely, I thought.

Well, if you're willing to splurge $20, you can always pick up the first 2 seasons on DVD. The price has dropped dramatically since they came out..

IM WAITING FOR THE PRICE TO DROP ON SEASON 4 TO GO BELOW 30, I GOT THE FIRST 3 SEASONS UNDER $40FOR ALL 1AND2 were together and season 3 by itself, I dont know why season 4 is 50 and 40 bucks. Amazon went down to 37 is still too much, 30 or less is reasonable! I HAVE DREAMS ABOUT THIS SHOW IT WAS SO GREAT TILL THEY DESTROYED IT BUT I STILL LOVE IT, WAITING FOR SEASON 5 TO COME OUT!

Yeah.  Maybe it cost more to recoup the profits, since it was coming from the SciFi channel and not Fox. Might have cost more to license that season. I'm waiting for it to drop too.

NetFlix has Sliders pilot episode available on Watch Instantly. It has most of the episodes from Seasons 1 and 2. After those seasons, the series gets worse.
