@somethingtough Great...Sounds like you are experienced in restoration projects. We are just trying to get this old Scout running again (been in the family since '67). It would be great if we had the time and resources to return it to mint condition..
you know in one sense these are just hunks of metal etc. But really, i think its preserving and celebrating part of american history. In the days when america was still producing things. Reliable inovative things. Manufacturing. Its something to be proud of and remember. and keep in mind for our future. Anyways, best of luck to you. I hope to get a scout too :)

@adamsenig Mine tops out a 55 MPH. It has a four cylinder 80 horse power engine..
