Okay, I'm an atheist conservative, and the Pat Buchanan wing of the Republican party needs to disapate, and that smarmy Liberal douchebag O'Donnel needs to be taken out back and shot!
Science is the language of God. Just as God dictates the rules, laws, and all of the forces of the world, science is the undeniable word of God. I love The Lord, and I embrace the rules, laws, and forces that he lays before us. So should the you.
Evolution is evident in our medical field. Disease and Bacteria evolve to resist our medicines all of the time. The Flu and the Common Cold evolve every year to combat the vaccine that people use. That's why you have to get a new vaccine every year. What? Are these new strands of flu and cold created from nothing every year to harass the human race?
Ha, Buchanan shut him up rather nicely with that retort. O'Donnell is apparently one of the many who knows all about the origins of humanity without ever so much as getting his hands dirty. Nevermind that we don't even know when or by what path with much certainty the first humans walked on our own continent.
Get your facts straight. Buchanan was asked, as a Republican spokesman, to admit that evolution is a real phenomena. Buchanan could not even admit that science is viable means of understanding the world, instead he responded with theology and religious dogma in an effort to defend the Republican party!?! If O'Donnells hands have not gotten dirty in the search for knowledge, then Buchanan's hands have been cleanly chopped off by the Republican party in the name of religion.
Perhaps you should follow your own advice concerning facts. Buchanan is not a Republican spokesman. He's opposed to the global free trade policies the GOP, and in many cases the democrats, have embraced. He's opposed to the interventionist foreign policy the GOP has come to embrace. He was speaking in defense of Sarah Palin, not the party.

Why are atheist asking political candidates about evolution and calling them ignorant before he even answers ?

Did that cretin Robertson say something about Reagan being intellectual? Nah, even the knuckle-dragging godmongers wouldn't claim that.
