Wow...not heard Xcommunication before...what a find...thanks...heard the rest...only Yes competes with my affection for this group.......Katz just isn't Collins though...I hate to say it...close-ish but no...way out of my league I must add, but too heavy on the rather simplistic snare...Jones and Goodsall as sublime as ever....
@JamesRSherburn - I think you will revise your opinion of katz by listening to his insane light snare ghost strokes on the song "Mental Floss" from this same album. Phil could never play that. Dont listen to them over laptop speakers of you may miss them they are so light, fast and complex between the regular harder snare hits. let me know what you think of it. You cant judge a musician on only a couple songs. they often have to play what is asked for. goodsall prob wanted the snare hard here.
