I was just recently introduced to this band by a friend who is into European Rock/Metal bands. I think this bad is awesome!! Are all these songs remakes of other bands? The songs on this album sound really familiar. Either way they sure do rock. would love to see them live here in Canada. Their music is so reminiscent of the 80s and early 90s.
Mikko Siren (Finnish drummer) plays also in different bands, everything can happen with all sorts of people, so Emppu is not that unique with playing in two bands..
(Never heard of Brother Firetribe, though, just like that Emppu was playing in that band beside of Nightwish..)

Finland is the mecca for rock.
Thunderstone, Ensiferum, Brother Firetribe and Turisas.
These are great finnish folk bands u should listen to them if u like BFT.

False Metal is a future classic for sure. One of the best modern albums. Just brilliant songs.

Emppu has some good solos in Nightwish too... for example "the kinslayer"

there's no guitar solo on kinslayer man xD
one of the best solos of Emppu is Nemo IMO, and one that is pure skills is Romanticide, to name a few :D
