  • "If you shoot me, you're famous. If I shoot you, I'm brainless.

Different toilet, same shit, and I'm sick of explaining this."

  • GOD CREATING EVERYTHING

    EVOLUTION IS FALSE,

    EVEN DARWIN WAS UNSURE.

EVOLUTIONISTS TOOK A THEORY, AND MADE IT INTO FACT.

  • @Mancunian786

Well, I'm convinced. The sloganeering alone definitely quelled any rational objections I had to the entirety of fundamentalist Christian theology.

  • talk about giving atheists a bad image lol,

  • @gupsphoo

Yeah, Matt may debate more often and be a better debater, but Aron Ra does know FAR more generally. Lol

  • AronRa recently destroyed Matt Dillahunty in Biblical knowledge on the Non-Prohphets show.

  • All the creationists in the world couldn't win a debate with these two guys.

  • @aboyborninjune "All the creationists in the world couldn't win a debate with these two guys"

You don't appear to understand every prediction Darwinian evolution has made has been repeatedly falsified.

ENCODE, Venter and others will totally falsify the theory within 10 years

  • @toobsucker you're the second person in one week telling me evolution will be gone in 10 years.. funny how I still don't believe it. 2021 - and evolution is stronger than ever.

  • @aboyborninjune "you're the second person in one week telling me evolution will be gone in 10 years.. funny how I still don't believe it. 2021 - and evolution is stronger than ever.'

The Altenberg 16 was a meeting by some of the worlds "top evolutionary scientists" to discuss what they have known for decades but are now just coming to grips with. Copying errors & selection will not create new functional genes & protein folds.

They are now exploring new theories for genetic change

  • @aboyborninjune

Also through genome sequencing science now knows there are a myriad of conserved elements in all species that can not evolve. This is a death nail in any theory that requires all elements to evolve

  • @toobsucker and all leading scientists in the world still claims evolution to be accurate because...?

  • @aboyborninjune "and all leading scientists in the world still claims evolution to be accurate because...? "

"Evolution" is a fact. It is observable.

However the scope, extent and mechanisms were based on presuppositions that are proving to be wrong. This was the reason for the Altenberg 16 meeting.

Stasis is proving to be the predominate feature in the fossil record, DNA sequences and proteins. There IS limited evolution for adaptation purposes that is observable

    Morphology is a myth

  • @toobsucker So you're saying "God" did everything with a magic wand? How is that more realistic? Or don't you believe in those kind of things either?

  • @aboyborninjune "So you're saying "God" did everything with a magic wand? How is that more realistic? Or don't you believe in those kind of things either?'

No IM saying the intelligent designer (using intelligent foresight) built the cell and precisely arranged the DNA & RNA sequences to achieve specific results (different species) magic wands are not necessary

  • @toobsucker Who made the designer, and where is your evidence for this theory?

  • @aboyborninjune "Who made the designer, and where is your evidence for this theory?"

My hypothesis is eternal useable energy (energy can not be created or destroyed) existed "forever" before the singularity. At that point the laws of thermodynamics (entropy) do not exist. The chances of abiogenesis (or an awareness/intelligence arising) is 1/1 0r 100% because it has forever to do so. And any "life" that arose before entropy can never die. Any life that can never die MUST become all knowing

  • @toobsucker Whatever, I don't care about these philosophies anymore.

  • @aboyborninjune

Philosophies are all we have at this point. There is no demonstrate-able evidence of either the abiogenesis of God or the single cell.

  • @toobsucker can you demonstrate that evolution has a limit to change? obviously it cant make a bird out of a dog but im going to assume you are a scientifically litterate creationist

  • @wearestarstuffsagan "can you demonstrate that evolution has a limit to change? obviously it cant make a bird out of a dog but im going to assume you are a scientifically litterate creationist"

Besides the fact the fossil record quotes most occurring words are "stasis & sudden appearance" and a abundance of living fossils going back to Cambrian & before?

Google "Evolution's new wrinkle: Proteins with cruise control provide new perspective"

Forced mutations on proteins are not tolerated

  • @toobsucker if by "forced mutations on proteins are not tolerated" you mean that mutations are weeded out by cell death, i know this but they dont get all of the mutations, period. none of what you say is of any problem to evolution

  • @wearestarstuffsagan "if by "forced mutations on proteins are not tolerated" you mean that mutations are weeded out by cell death, i know this but they dont get all of the mutations, period. none of what you say is of any problem to evolution"

Why didn't you read the article?.

"A mathematical analysis of the experiments showed that the proteins themselves acted to correct any imbalance imposed on them through artificial mutations and restored the chain to working order"

    Homeostasis

  • @toobsucker

1: Just because the basic shape of organisms are unchanged in some instances does not disprove evolution. Look at the earliest sharks and crocs. they look much different than they do today. Only explained via evolution. 2: Sudden apperance means a rapid time of evolution which is seen in the fossil record to have taken place over 10-to-80 million years. It usually takes hundres of millions for evolution to work.

Can you cite something not dispensed by creationists?

  • @NUTCASE7173 "Look at the earliest sharks and crocs. they look much different than they do today. Only explained via evolution"

You assume evolution (DNA protein coding sequences change with new functional protein folds) when you see similarities in fossils. Because of phenotypic plasticity and convergent evolution fossils can not be used anymore to "prove" Darwinian evolution. Molecular genetics is the only thing that can be used and it is failing miserably. Genotypes & phenotypes do not match

  • @NUTCASE71733 "Sudden apperance means a rapid time of evolution which is seen in the fossil record to have taken place over 10-to-80 million years. It usually takes hundres of millions for evolution to work"

The Cambiran explosion had more genetic diversity than we have today and appeared within a "few million years". (so says Gould). Secondly P.E. (really really fast evolution) has no mechanism to proves its existence. P.E. is an excuse not an explanation. Explanations show mechanisms

  • @NUTCASE71733

Darwinian evolution requires changes in DNA protein coding sequences followed by new functional protein folds. Experiments with "evolving" protein folds are also failing miserably.

Google "Evolution's new wrinkle: Proteins with cruise control provide new perspective"

"A mathematical analysis of the experiments showed that the proteins themselves acted to correct any imbalance imposed on them through artificial mutations and restored the chain to working order"

  • @articwave Christopher Kitchens has done that several times.

  • kirk cameron and ray comfort vs aronra and matt dillahunty... my god i would pay for front row seats to that. we could call it "Mind Rape". after the debate ray and kirk would be eating their own shit only to regurgitate it and eat it again.

  • "...I have yet to see an intellectual debate". Wel'p... there goes nephilimfree's chance

  • AronRa got his wish last year at League of Reason, unfortunately they got circular reasoning, bullshit claims and a life story preaching off the loser.

  • @ganados0 Aron Ra did? I never heard of that.

  • @BathTubNZ He's listed it on his Channel under 'About Me'.

    But nothing came of it.

  • Ok, Mr. Ra I would like you to debate William Lane Craig, perhaps Alvin Plantinga, Richard Swineburne, J.P Moreland, N.T Wright, John Polkinghorne, Alexander Pruss, perhaps even Robin Collins, ill even let you debate Mike Licona or Paul Copan! You would get utterly destroyed by these guys so stop going after guys who haven't read a single logic textbook

  • @Lion0fyudah These are philosophers, not scientists. Their opinions are of little to no value.

  • @Lion0fyudah

The Atheist Experience has mentioned several times that these individuals can call in for a discussion at any time, but preferably in advance so they can setup a show devoted to it.

  • AronRa is such a GREAT thinker. He fills more corners of a subject than ANYONE ive EVER heard and he does it well.

  • Holy shit. Aron and Matt vs Cumfart and Camoron? That would be like Mike Tyson fighting a baby.

  • @eksyte did you catch todays episode of AETV? Ray vs Matt & Russell.

  • @BathTubNZ

I caught the debate with Ray Comfort with Matt and Russell at the Atheist Experience website. They destroyed Ray's arguments. It was hysterical.

He was shown to be the hypocritical little liar that we've all known him to be.

  • @eksyte I caught a few minutes of it. I'm hoping it will get uploaded soon.

  • I would love to see half of one of them show up drunk and debate those guys. That would be one helluva spectacle.

  • Aron Ra is freaky looking.

  • I would kill to get fucked up on good beer and good weed with AronRa and MattyD and then go debate sober fuckin' Creationists.

  • I would pay good money to see that debate!

  • I debated Ray in public one year ago. I originally showed up just to watch, but he pulled me out of the crowd and I accepted. We went head to head for 20 minutes until he finally admitted to me, "Wow. You know your stuff." I finally stepped down after he realized he wasn't going to make any headway with an atheist who knew more about the Bible than the unsuspecting bypassers he USUALLY pulls in to his act. It was a blast, and I hope to do it again someday. He's a buffoon.

  • @turi73 lol it's amazing how many christians seem to get off on that.

  • @turi73 how was that even remotely on topic? I was just laughing at how many loving Christians, transformed by Christ's love get a thrill about the thought of others being tormented for eternity.

  • @BathTubNZ what i meant by burnedis that these foos will get killed in a debate.burned in a debate, not burn in hell.and yes these foos are religious too.all faith,100 percent faith guys calling their beliefs real science

  • @turi73 You have no idea what you're talking about if you honestly see things that way. Atheism is the LACK of faith. Get it?

  • @SubconsciousGatherer no.i dont get it.we believe in a Creator.you athiest believe matter out of nothing, you believe all the tremendous design in the universe came out of nothing.thats immense amount of faith.so when an athiests, converts to the religion of athiesm, his faith actually increases.it takes more faith to believe all this came out of nothing

  • @turi73 Where'd your creator come from? Out of nothing?

  • @SubconsciousGatherer with what your asking, your immediately presupposing time space and matter again.you have to understand that the cause of the universe had to be changeless and timeless, because it itself created time.it has to not be physical, because itself created matter.and it cannot be in a space, because itself created space.with the question your asking, you are presupposing matter space and time again.remember, the Creator created these things

  • @turi73 You can't just posit "the Creator created these things" without giving evidence that one exists. Not knowing how or where things came from does not give you a license to claim "a god did it." Prove your god exists, or just admit you can't.

  • @SubconsciousGatherer yea bro.like i said, the cause of the creation has to be abstract.it has to be an intelligent mind do to all the design there is.or unless u wanna have more faith and believe all deisgn just happened

  • @turi73 I would suggest you look up the word "faith" in the dictionary and learn how to properly use it in a sentence. The rest of your arguments are invalid when you expose a general lack of knowledge regarding the subject matter. Educate yourself on the things you're talking about, then put some posts up here. All the best.

  • @SubconsciousGatherer oh i understand them very well.and the example i am using is very well, something that has never been observed requires the exercise of faith.and that is exactly what you athiests believe,in fact you call it science.i understand matter very well, and we all know matter cant come out of nothing.in fact in the begginig there was information. second law of information says that information has to come from an intelligent mind

  • @turi73 Look up the word "faith" in the dictionary and use it in its proper context, or this discussion is over. You're not making any sense, so there's nothing for me to respond to. PLEASE, look up the word and use it correctly or I'm done with you. Thank you.

  • @SubconsciousGatherer i just looked it up,webester random house college dictionary, definition number 2 says"belief that is not based on poof". obviously you believe that faith has to do only with God or religion, well your wrong.this mini debate is not over

  • @turi73 Exactly, faith is a very specifice type of belief which is not based on proof. Science seeks for evidence, for proof. I don't believe in things for which there is no proof. That is what religious people do. Faith is a dangerous thing, and I avoid it at all costs. My beliefs are based on evidence, not wishfull thinking. Atheism is the OPPOSITE of having faith. If you can't grasp that atheism is not "faith" then I'm sorry, we are done. Do you understand?

  • @SubconsciousGatherer haha we are not done.i understand.and i also do understand that you beliefs is not real science.science is observation.and for athiests to believe that matter came out of nothing is not science.therefore, your belief requires the exercise of faith

  • @turi73 Why are you bringing science into this? I didn't bring it up, YOU did. Stop trying to change the subject. You don't know a damn thing about what I believe regarding science, so don't be dishonest and assume that you do. We're talking about religion here, NOT science. Stay on topic, or we will truly be done talking. I'm giving you the chance to prove the particular god you believe in exists. Either show that it's real, or admit you can't. Thanks.

  • @turi73 Alright, please explain the things atheists believe that require faith

  • Is that thing on the table a Flying-Spagett-Monster-figurine?

    loving it...

  • It's a shame that Steven Jay Gould's debates with creationists weren't filmed or captured on video; or at least I haven't seen any. I saw him debate live years ago, and he literally crushed the "competition". The Creationst wonks truly hated Steve for this, and when he contracted cancer they were literally praying for his demise. Ironically, he would hang around and keep speaking and writing for a decade after the initial diagnosis, much to the Creationist community's dismay.

  • Aron is going to be hosting again on Aug 1! :-)

  • @SiriusMined Cool, where did you see that?

  • @BathTubNZ

    The Atheist Experience website

  • @SiriusMined lol fair enough, don't usually scroll down that far, thanks.

  • Let it not be forgotten that the unfamous making a point against the famous is a danger that the more famous avoid like the plague. Naturally. Just as in boxing. A shot in the dark can change a career's course. So there is sense in not bringing unknowns into the game.

...but it's chicken shit all the same..protection of self, forememost.

  • not that we should expect busy professionals to take an inordinate amount of time to reply to the many idiocies, individually.

  • Awesomesauce

  • lol, Kirk Cameron!

  • Aron's laughter is truly the laughter of GOD!

  • @Raakiszh epic irony :P

  • haha i havent heard aron laugh before that was funny...

  • Wouldn'T it be funny if the Matt and Aron really had to drink large quantities of alcohol to even the playing field before the debate . They could put that on pay per view and use the proceeds to raise scientific literacy . That would be funny !

  • thank you...
