@jadenvlad Honey, relax. Rachel Maddow (she's the smart lady who said "the gays" that upset you so much) is a Lesbian. She was being tongue-in-cheek. She does that. I promise she's not using humour to hide her "discomfortness" - she's using humour to keep from pulling her own hair out.
At least Rachel doesn't t treat FRC as a legitimate research organization, as Anderson Cooper does. Someone needs to buy Anderson Cooper a crowbar so he can pry his face out of the ass-crack of Tony Perkins and the family-so-called-research council. "Oh Tony, I love it when you call me your little abomination."
@orge121 Well, to be fair in this situation- this shit is ridiculous, and she was making fun of something that was already pretty hilarious. Also, Rachel Maddow hasn't told America that God talked to her and told her about heavens plan for America. (Glenn Beck has)
@edgwaterprog "False equivalency"? Rachael Maddow is apologetically liberal, MSNBC barley tries to hid the fact. Its not a false equivalency... it is equivalency. I am not comparing FOX and MSNBC on some moral scale or something...saying on it right (haha) and wrong...I am saying that they both provide a biased take on the days news.
Oh and the FRC is a research organization....just because they look into something you dont agree with does not make them illegitimate. What about SETI?
@orge121 The "false equivalency" is the fact that any right-wing group can get uncritical reporting in most media outlets. If anyone, like Maddow, calls them out factually they are called partisan and biased. Representatives of FRC should be given the same critical treatment that SETI is given in the media not as if they are the equivalent to but opposite of HRC or other LGBT rights organizations.
see, all that money that we have because we can't marry but still get together as couples, we get to keep saving that up and saving that up. So I say, for every moment that a person wants to promote their anti-gay agenda, that's another dollar saved up to go have fun someplace where they (the anti-gay agenda people) aren't.
What will the gay community complain about when all else is on a par? I just bet they will find something. It is in the genes to complain if you are gay.
@TAMARLANE What will the gay community complain about when everything is on par? Nothing, I assume. But I don't see that happening in the near future, so you'll just have to keep hearing from us, unfortunately.
Speak for yourself, dearie3. I will continue to act up for the rest of my life. I will cause problems for the straight community forever for all the grief they have caused me. I will work to make damned sure the young children in the schools know about the gay lifestyle before they reach the age of puberty. After puberty it is too late for us. They will make fun of us , ridicule us and attack us forever.
@ChrisBowlas They would surely use the very rumor of compulsary homosexuality in their next fundraising campaign. Of course their supporters are of ignorant enough to believe it.
The FRC is missing the other really ominous point! Taking mass transit is more environmentally friendly! And all of this environmentally friendly bru-ha-ha is a big scary liberal lie! There is no global warming! Don't tread on me! Etc! <--- sarcasm
YAY! I love Rachel Maddows! "The Gaaaay" Gay's have money to burn.. it makes sense to me. I'm gay, and I love using my gay powers to turn straight people gay! There is a flaw in this theory - we do still need straight people to make more gay people...
The Family Research Council is insulting to the millions of Americans who have deeply held moral convictions against bigotry, discrimination, and fear/hate as a defining characteristic of character.
But they needn't worry - Amtrak's awful trains and lousy service are unlikely to appeal to LGBTQ people.
where is Samuel L. Jackson?

The Family Research Council needs to go screw itself. What makes them think a lot of gays don't already use it?

I don't understand why people boast up Maddow as a hero but attack people like O'rielly and Beck, are they not two sides of the same coin???
Don't get me wrong I do not like fox news, but aren't "news" people like Rachel Maddow just catering to their base?

Bitch.
That is all.

Perhaps someone should tell the FRC that, in the next decade, being gay will become compulsory?
With any luck, they'll either emigrate or drop down dead from the shock.
