Thanatos means death, it refers to angel of death. you can see the angel it refers to in the Silent Hill Zero original soundtrack comic which shows Pyramid Head fighting said Angel. Really cool stuff. I jerk to Silent Hill I love it so much. I wish I lived there!

What most people don't know but should know, is that Thanatos is ancient greek for Death, and considering this makes the song pretty ironic for the sound isn't quite what you would expect by the Death of an Angel
