By the way, may I suggest adding whiskers by cutting (gasp!! I know, it's not traditional, but it makes for a nice looking face ;) the top of the flap underneath the horns a little? And to make the horns stand out a bit more, I added a fold upwards and then towards the tail again. this makes them standout a little more. I just thought I'd share a few details I added :)

I've been looking for an eastern dragon like this; thanks for finally putting up one! I've seen many people put up only the finished product of eastern dragons that look very great and complex, but this one is the only one to be accompanied by instructions! Thanks so much!

@NAIUS2 In this video I used wrapping paper of a very poor quality. It's good to use somewhat stiff, but thin paper for this model. Copy paper should work ok, but something thinner, yet stiffer is better. Foil works very well.

I made one, but the paper I used was too flimsy, so the tail kept falling to the side. I made another one a day later, today, and glued some foil to the back of the paper before starting. This helped a little, so i then stuffed some foil rods into the tail. This was good, but it kept falling backwards from the added weight. Finally, I put some more foil in the body. Now it stands perfectly, and it looks amazing. I couldn't have made it without ya Sara! Thanks a bundle!

ahh i finally did it i folded until the end i did it with 4x20 cm paper and my 8th go's suceeded... well when i say suceeded it would probably look freakin terrible to a normal person i made the body too long and the tail too short and the heads a little messed up... plus there's black ink all over it.

but apart from that i'm proud of it because it resembles the one you have =D

i don't know, if anybody mentioned it already - you forgot to mountain fold the tail of the dragon - it should be more narrow, then the body.

regardless, i like it, that you show how to fold models like this one, to all the community, which have trouble folding them - 5 stars :)

RuriX, if you can't do that then try getting the part you tuck inward in side the "slots" of the legs.

Woot! got it the first time around! when I look at the diagrams my heart just stops, they look pretty finished but making them using the diagrams is a headache. I usually can't make heads nor tails out of those things! Thanks for the vids!

after trying so many times the paper ripped, i'm wondering if you just fold the bottom triangle behind the color change rim, i was trying to push the bottom bit inside between the 2 halves of the leg with no luck. it ain't pretty, but it's folded.
