@bloximonkey AFAIK the ECU adapts a bit to your driving style. So it should give you a little bit more poke at the RPMs where you usually need it, which in turn will make you press the pedal a bit softer which ends up in better economy. Also, the friction in the engine probably got a bit less (but not to the point where you would call the engine "old").
@bloximonkey A combination of the components wearing relative each other to run smoother and the computer learning your driving habits to be more efficient.
The accord, not only looks better, but probably is better in every way than this monstrosity. Honestly, 30k for a pimped out mobile greenhouse? Please.
Wait, the English get projectors and manual....wtf?!?!?!

I seriously recommend the Peugeot 3008 crossover 1.6THP 156 sport as your next crew car. It would suit your needs perfectly and its a class leader!

Why would the average mpg go up instead of down after 10k miles?

In my area in the U.S. most people opt for the base model (mainly because they're Asians, no offense because I'm Asian, too).

Spend £1999 on driver training and you'll probably never need that 'Driver Safety Pack'. I mean seriously...

Great car or whatever you call it (crossover, SUV). Indestructible for a normal use, comfortable and great re-sale value.

For a car show, the fact that you didn't think of the tires is a bit odd ;)
