Paul Krugman Explains His Alien Theory for Fixing the Economy

Mr Krugman's idea about how the government spending can pick us up out of this, as it did with WWII, is based on historical fact. That said, we may not have to wait much longer for a war to spur the economy along. It seems that we're gearing up for war with Iran, and it may not be much longer until it officially starts. When the US put economically devastating sanctions on Japan, we had war within months. After WWI, Germany was forced to pay astronomical war reparations which lead to WWII.
