  • Awesome

  • awesome man im gonna give it a try

  • Wow. Great work my friend, a true blessing.

  • A7X Nightmare skull XD

  • What was your final candy coat over everything?

  • What airbrushes do you use?

  • Im starting airbrushing and whent and bought paint from the local auto paint shop , it's a paint that you have to join a catalyst or hardener, is this used to thin the paint aswell? or do I have to get a proper thinner? thanks

  • @soaresphilip Your base coat in a urethane does not have a hardener. Only your clear coat does. Base only uses reducer, which is basically thinner.

  • Nice video bro it helped me alot... what airbrush do you recomend because i have a 20 dollar one and it keeps cluggin up even tho i reduce the paint.it looks like a good airbrush gun but i know theres better ones like the one u use.. im using the auto paint ...and what do u use to reduce the air on the little compressor

  • sick dude!!!

  • nice

  • what would you charge for a painting like that ???

  • what brand of urethane paint fo you use

  • I found the skull on google images by searching 'screaming skull'. I'm just starting to airbrush and I LOVE your videos! Thanks for taking the time to help us all out by sharing your skills.

  • Do you use the same airbrush for the whole piece? If so, do u have to wash it out everytime you switch to a new color?

  • how long did you paint that?

  • how did u start when you first did airbrushing and wat type airbrush do you use

  • fukn koolman love your work

  • chido chido ,, (bad ass )

  • Seriously... This is amazing piece of work, but I was a little bit dissapointed... I loved that skull as it was all foggy and ghostly :)) in silver with blue fire I would paint that image all after my wall :D

  • bad ass.. got a guestion ..do u need to reduce the tangrine orange ?

  • Wath's the name of the songs? Great work man, it's awesome...

  • i love my custom micron

  • Thats beast i wish i had an airbuah but the paints really expensive

  • when you use your hand as stability watchout it does not peel the paint or smudge!!!!

  • @jambuttymegasize

I never have that problem with urethane. It dries immediately. With good prep work and dependable paint you never have to worry about that.

  • @BerserkCustomPaint I guess it depends what thinner you use. and of couse the paint as well. i paint mosly with acrilics but i have done a few projects with urathane

  • @BerserkCustomPaint do you use HOK?

  • sory for my english (i m french :))

very good job, good tips, and you are a very good practice, you dont use a stencil, you paint on freehand and it s a good job very fine.

    congratulation

    dom

  • Which Iwata air brush is that your using?

  • You make it look so easy, how many years have you been airbrushing?

  • im just starting airbrushing im really good but my airbrush gun sucks and cant get into the small detail so when i make a stencil i have to make like 2 or 3 of them to use them for my shading any tips?

  • that's pretty fucking sweet :D

  • awesome tutorial keep them coming very helpful

  • you should consider making instructional dvd's because you do alot better than most i have seen! most artists do not include the little things like what ratio paint to thinner or air pressure they are using.that stuff is really helpful to new guys like me! i've watched a lot of these videos and have bught a lot of dvd's and tis one kicks ass! thankyou for sharing this and hope to see more from you!

  • this is real nice man..i wana do shit like this someday

  • you are so friggin awesome!!!!!!!

  • Thats pretty good. I am also just getting started. I purchased a badger 155 and Devillbiss Dagr. I hope they serve me well.

  • i liked it without the orange, but its still good reguardless

  • What kind of paint do you use ?

  • Did you just use printer paper in this, or was it actual stencil paper?

  • @wizzinonafence

    It's just printer paper

  • @wizzinonafence hey man, tip i use when doing more important (expensive) jobs and need to make quick stencils i'll use basic computer paper, but as youll find out, paper can bleed through so i keep a can of rattle can clear coat to clear the paper stencils. it not only keeps the paint from bleeding through, but works great if you wanna reuse the stencil later on on another job

  • @50jofa Thanks :D I'll definitely keep that in mind.

  • What was that you sprayed on first?

  • @2trutwin

    white

  • very very nice work. As a artist for most of my life, its good to see creative people sharing their skills. You really have no idea how your video has inspired so many to accomplish their dreams. They tell us that we make it look so easy, it only took 40 yrs to do that . lol I wish you well, health & prosperity to you

    adieu mon ami

  • Awesome job! I have been drawing for years and am just now starting to experiment with air brushing, how did you get started and what did you do for practice?

  • @JonMJ

If you view the rest of my vids then you'll have your answer.

  • you forgot a tooth

  • thank you very much ... and do you have any dvd ?you are just great better then Ed Hubs i wish to airbrush like you

  • where can i find this pics ? i wouldlike to make the same stencil please help me ... you are just nr 1 do you have any dvd for sale?

  • @meler80

    Just google "screaming skull"

  • i want to airbrush my motorcycle tank! how do I go about doing this? I should mention that it's factory painted and cleared i just want to add a name to it.

  • @coreywiley

Take it apart and sand it with 800 grit then add the name and reclear. If you don't want to do all of that you can always just brush it on with One Shot striping enamel on top of the clear.

  • AWESOMe VIDEO!!!! New subscriber here, Keep making videos!!!!

  • Hi , Ryan just found you on youtube and have to say fair play mate your art work is very good and your information is very helpful. just wondering if you can get standox paints in smaller maybe 120ml bottles don't know anything about this paint. I am using autoair at the mo but want to experiment with new paints. also how do you transfer an image on to your support ready for airbrushing. anyways keep up the good work hope to here from you soon peace out.

  • making something that detailed takes great talent and time...

  • awesome work,very awesome man

  • Great vid!

Can you recomend a good beginner airbrush set with compresser?

    Thanks again!

  • @SimpleiPod

Go the the airbrushtricks website and click on the ultimate airbrush starter set link. That's everything you need. You can also get all of that stuff at Hobby Lobby too. I recommend the top feed Iwata Eclipse for your first airbrush.

  • what kinda of brand is good to buy for an airbrush? (airbrushing for cars and bikes)

  • @emanie1000

If you're airbrushing on cars and don't have access to a mixing machine like I do then use HOK. They cater to custom painters. The most affordable way to go is to start with the primary colors and build up from there. You DEFINITELY need to have some solid knowledge of how to use your paints correctly, so study up! I may make that my next video. Kind of a starter thing. I think airbushtricks has a good video on this too.

  • very very nice work

  • this is so cool.... my dad taught me how to do this but on different thing .. lol

but nice work u have talent!!!!!

  • Wow man, you are truly an artist! I wish I knew how to work an airbrush with any kind of talent.... I can imagine it, but can't make it look like in my head.

  • Very nice work! What paints do you use?

  • @cymbiline

    Standox and House of Kolor

  • awesome work and tutorial thank you very much people like you help us newbies out so much!!!!!!!!!!

  • what do you mean when you said" the white has been reduceed?" great vid. very inspirational. loving this tank

  • @emanie1000

I mean there is about %20 white to about %80 reducer.

  • did he change the nib for diferent parts? can somone tell me them? D:

  • @DXPewPew

Are you asking about my airbrush. I didn't change anything. these are Iwata Kustom CM and Kustom Eclipse brushes. No mods

    Greets from Holland

  • Just shot four more videos and am in the middle of editing them rite now. Just some basic stuff like real fire, taping off flames, and a very advanced portrait tutorial. I will also be making one that is just airbrush advice. It will most likely be just me telling about little things that have made a big difference in my art.

  • nice work

  • nice work I am a beginer with a airbrush any detailed videos like this on is a big help been painting cars for over 20 years just started messing around with the air brush got a link to where I can get the HOK airbrush paints with out having to buy it by the QT thanks make more videos bud

  • really appriciate you taking time to post this, it was nicely done keep em coming

  • Only thing that sucks about this video is that i didn't make it! LOL dude.. you rock. Keep up the awesome awesome work.

  • I have been airbrushing for about 2 years and I have watched every video on airbrushing that i could find....you have the absolutely best description of stencil work, shading, paint reduction and light source use that i have seen!!! not to mention you give some good advice on the use of a Micron....thank you for your efforts and great art work!!! Gotta give you a major thumbs up with this one!!!!

  • man i thought that your video was really good. your work is amazing!!!!

  • Bad. Ass. Badass. Make more videos, your art is amazing and the tunes rock.

  • Great work man...I also reduce the paint a lot more than the instructions written. And hell i hate my hands shaking like a women's toy :D Thanks for the tips and keep doing such good things

  • im a auto painter just getting into airbrushing, do you mix all your paint 70/30 or just what works best? the candy you put on was it from hok or kustomshop? thanks nice video

  • No. I mix it that way only when I airbrush. Really its just whatever sprays the pattern that a want. I only use house of kolor paint.

  • @thesoria1

My PSI is so low because of my technique. I work with my paint so thin that I couldn't get as tight with my details with a higher psi. The paint would splatter or skate. This it just the way I prefer to paint. I can achieve an insane amount of texture and detail this way. My style is less like airbrush and more like shading with a pencil.

  • That was freakin' awesome! Planning on doing my van soon and your video helped a loy, Thanx and keep up the nice work :)

  • wow man thats a work of art not just a paint job honestly im a noob hope i get to that calibur some day 10/10

  • just one to give message more..for you very good video and airbrush work..think is one of the better you ever find about airbrush..bet on that.

    Best regards multiairbrusher./denmark for viking;-)

  • nice video man & great work!!! i have an iwata eclipse & im using createx & it keeps cloging up my tip & paint wont flow through. i tried to reduce & strain but no luck. any advice on how to get good flow? do you think i should try different paint?

  • @melendrez1147

Createx is good for t-shirts and canvas work, but you should use House of Kolor, or I use Standox on my cars and bikes. The automotive paints have a very smooth flow. The createx is a water based paint and if you let it dry up in your gun it can be like concrete to get out. You might just play with the reduction and air pressure though to try and fix your problem. Sometimes you can have your air pressure to high and it can dry your paint before it has a chance to leave the tip.

  • just my opinon but i like it better at 3:44

  • Thank you Ryan for taking the time to respond. I had looked at hundreds of pics, but 'screaming skull' was the answer. Keep working on that 3d skull, as I would be one of the first to buy one from you. Thanks again. You are a true inspiration.

  • Nice work Ryan! So you used 2 different airbrushes? I'm using just a an HP-C Plus and struggling with fine detail. What's the tip size on the micron? Do you find it makes that much of a difference? I'm thinking I need to invest in a second airbrush.

    Keep up the good work!

  • Ryan, you redefine 'bad to the bone!' It's people like you that make the rest of us feel even worse about ourselves ;) No matter what you show us, we could never do anything close to you. You understand light and shadows to a level we could never imagine. You are a true genius. How long have you been doing this, and I don't recall what paint you use? Thanks again you sick and talented artist!

  • Nice video and airbrush job

  • Great Vid!! Found the pic on Google images, Stencilled it and had a go. I REALLY need to get a half decent airbrush and a LOT more practice.

Cant wait for your next one . Keep it up for all us noobs and the rest 10/10

  • Cool! I'd like to see how yours turned out. I've been meaning to make some more videos but lent out my camera. I will make more when I get it back.

  • @BerserkCustomPaint Just got the step up in airbrush and will upload a pic or short vid of both first &2nd attempt. I thought a brush was a brush. WOW was I wrong. Its amazing the difference to detail level that a half decent brush can make even for a newbie like me!

  • @BerserkCustomPaint Finished my attempt on a sampler. WAT U THINK?? Be as honest as you like. Its all constructive!!

  • excellent video!!!!!
