i love how u basically skating with a longboard, but may i ask why u chose to use a board that is basically heavier for skating? whats the advantage to that? or is it all preference because like i said it seems like ur just skating with a bit heavier and longer board.

I am 6'6" so I really like a board that is proportionate, however many people under 6 ft love this board for other reasons. Brad Edwards is not that tall and absolutely shreds his 40"pro model. This vid was the1st days of shredding so there's no carving or "longboarding" in it. I love this board for its unique size and shape which lends itself so nicely to both longboard and trickboard style!

I guess that's why I prefer it....hands down, best board I've ever ridden!

@thechillout133 Yeah, the BE40 is a little heavier than a street deck, and the extra length makes ollies a little slower, but I way prefer it to any street deck I've ridden. It will take a few days to get used to it, but the board is still quite responsive to flip tricks and pop. You'll love it.

Wow, I had no idea this vid would spring such aggression. I am a longboarder, if you look up longboarding by definition, it really doesn't refer to a length of board at all but a style. I will say with all honesty Gravity Skateboards makes some of the best longboards on earth. The B.E. 40 which I am riding in this video has more pop than any other board I have ever seen, I can ollie it 42' on flat ground. It also slides, bombs and carves like a beast.
