God of War III Walkthrough Ch44: Finally, We Face Zeus!!! (Titan Difficulty)

I saw through all the videos of the game, I also love this game.

The guy who plays as Zeus sounds like the king dude in the little mermaid.

you know that when zeus jumps in the air try to jump at him and press circle to punch him and bring him down

Second sequence: Zeus makes same moves plus rushing at you or creating fountains of electricity coming from the floor. You can just double-jump over him.

Works like magic for both sequences (took me 15 tries, about an hour and a half).

Okay, so I've improved the tactic just a bit:

First sequence: Zeus either:

1. Gives two punches (if he hits you with them he'll make a third, electrifying hit witch takes 30% of HP) - what you should do: simply reflect those hits with R1

2. Jumps to launch electricity at you - what you should do: roll under Zeus (spam arrows with the Bow of Apollo if you want)

3. Jumps higher to launch himself at you - what you should do: spam with Bow of Apollo (he'll stop and will teleport) OR just evade.

so i dont know why this is but in all you videos you get hit and it does like 1/10 the damage i get hit with, the three hit combo punch punch thunder clap, takes 75% of my life so every time he does it i die. you guides have been very helpful but you boss guides suck, showing a "lucky" way to beat him is not really a guide, i have yet to get him stuck in a corner, im on about 3 hours now and i have yet to see the O. Alternate boss battle strategy would be nice! THANKS for getting me to zeus!

Another thing to add about this fight is when Zeus sprints at you from a distance let him grab you so you can fire him off a way you take no damage. 2nd bit is getting me killed but i'm still gonna do it. Love the commentary btw makes vids way more enjoyable to hear someones reactions to whats going on.

when i use my full magic on his second form he isnt nearly stunned even when i hit him 10 times or more. on your video hes almost instantly stunned

Hand-to-Hand! is the best way to defeat him in this fight. Spent 2 days on this fight, tried different methods. Had some luck with the Nemisis Whip L+Triangle! Krotos will lunge toward him and get 1-2 hits, 5-7 if ur lucky. U can do this when he's in the air, the end of his 2punch combo or wen he runs towards you and hits the wall(evade). BUT the best method is to stay in front of him with the NCs. You can deflect his to 2 punch combo Hold L1 then tap for the 2nd punch. THEN START PUNCHING!
