  • The Drake is a lie

  • that was awesome, thank you

  • just to make sure its acurrate gally's reload in 5 sec

  • Just started playing EVE again after dabbling with it 5yrs ago. Awesome tutorial; thanks! BTW, fellow Brit here LF a newb-friendly corp :)

  • 2nd: i heard bigger ships have issues to hit freggs 'cause their big turrets can't turn around fast enought.... wouldn't it make sense for the freg pilot to fit some small turrets just to defend himself, or are they incompatible?

  • i'm still in trial mode but i have two questions about turrets...

1st: i'm currently just fitting what i find in space (or missions) until i have enought money to get the good stuff. so i try to orbit my target in optimal range... of my setup instead of changing ammo for the current distance (getting from 10 km to 4km is faster than 10 sek of ammo switch) but i noticed that my ship often doesn't get as close as i set it to go (i set 4km but average distance stays ~6.5km). what can i do?

  • Im a noob, so this may sound like a dumb question, but what are you using to run EVE, a mac or pc?

  • @natehollywood77 eve runs on both platforms (idk about stability though)

  • I'm brand new to EvE, been playing for 2 days. I'm partially lost, however I have started mining and have the basic Amarr mning frigate and around 200,000isk. Could you make a ship progression guide? That would be wonderful for new players

  • @MangakuSasuke this is something that we have in the pipeline.

We are working on some base fits for pvp/pve across all races, once these are done I will do explication tutorials on each one, and the order to train to them.

  • @EvECoPilot You (or anyone else) wouldn't happen to know when the badass new turrets are supposed to come out would you? Y'know the ones that stay inside your ship and don't pop out until you need to use them and don't look like they were just glued on or something?

  • @SlayerExopsGamers im afraid, were impatiently waiting like everyone else :(

  • @MangakuSasuke /watch?v=BLfnVdA3jVc this shows you how to fit your first Amarr frigs... but after that, But if you do want one, then i would reccomend the Arbitrator, or the Omen, the arbitrator has good Drone bay (for mining drones) and has 2 Turret slots, but a smallish Cargo capacity. Where as the Omen has a larger Cargo capacity and 5 turret Harpoints, but only enought room for 3 drones, so its your choice... but if you want a good mining cruiser, get a osprey. and dont mine with aBattleship

  • Ive quit eve for quite a while now, dont think i remember any of it tbh, it was so hard some times :P but still the most fun i had in an mmo playing with other people. Ive been thinking of getting back into Eve again, the upcoming "walking in stations" is not far anymore now to :D i just dont think i remember any of it lol, would i be better starting of a new character starting from 0? i had quite a lot of skill points on my current char, just dont remember any of it or what it all means :P

  • @NivekBe I would keep the character you worked on. No point in thrown away the skill points, Unless you plan oh heading in a completely different direction. Even then you never know when they might help out.

  • @NivekBe Keep your old characters, skillpoints are always usefull ;) There is absolutely no drawback in using an "old" character so keep your old toon :)

  • The theoretical limit for turret range is actually Optimal + 2x Falloff. In your video you stated it's Optimal + 1x Falloff.

At Optimal + Falloff you should be doing approximately 50% of your theoretical max damage. The damage continues to degrade along a curve until it approaches zero at 2x Falloff. It doesn't just end after 1x Falloff.

  • Nice tutorial but your a bit off on the ammo when it comes to projectiles things become more complicated than you let on, I.e. damage type selections, lack of cap usage different tracking modifiers, furthermore Artillery functions in a different manner than the other racial long guns both in practice and intent.

  • @fuzzydragon None of the information is inaccurate. and this is a starter tutorial, there will be more in depth tutorials later, covering the finer arts.

  • caldari use turrets as well just wanted to say that ^^

  • @alpha9190 Some caldari ships have railgun turrets bonus, yes ;) But true calda use missiles :D :D

  • @startide Especially if you use em in those fighters :3

  • Just for info for new players, you can also group/ungroup your turrets/launchers by using the button (with 2 circles) just at the left of the first high slot.

    Anyway, good tutorial here.

  • Great info. Very helpful for the beginner skill level such as myself. With EvE being such a complex game, these tutorials are perfect for getting up and running very quickly. I am not currently subscribed to EvE but this makes me want to sub up again.

  • ~FIRST... I miss eve :(

  • @Professsor come back :D

  • @EvECoPilot I really want too, but lack funds or a reliable internet connection. Hopefully got a start date for a job in June then all I will have to do is save a deposit for my own place, then BAM! I will be back!

  • @EvECoPilot If he's comming back, then I'll come to. ;)

  • @MiniGamerTai your welcome any time :D

  • @EvECoPilot Thank you :D
