This is more about arguing against creationism, in a vague, smug, and elitist way, (and displaying females in a better light than male) rather than explaining the difference between Theory and Hypothesis. Could and would you have done this video absent your agenda(s) that make you no better than the side you argue against?
sad the explanation is crudely cast as part of an agenda and evades the question: at what juncture does proven hypotheses and observations form a theory? Mere consensus dictates a plurality opinion is the basis for the classification, not science: 16 scientists say weight/amount of observations and test results = theory, 5 scientists = need more, yet the hypothesis is declared a theory because 16>5? How silly, there must be something more to it. Excellent video idea, but poorly executed.
im jst a highschool graduate, but now now the difference, i had and idea but not much, it sucks we wud rather watch tits n ass instead of mind expanding videos
Even if the "theory of evolution" meant what the creationists think it means and natural selection and the other proposed mechanisms were just untested guesses, it would still not change the observable fact that life on this planet undergoes evolution.
Scientists are not discussing whether or not "evolution is true" because that would be like debating whether objects with mass exert a gravitational pull.
Only incurious people who bought into the creationist rhetoric don't realize this.

Evolution (biological, anthropological, etc) is a very bad theory, supported (or unsupported, really) by bad data. Evolution is fairy tale for grownups. It has way too many "holes" to be a theory. It should remain as a hypothesis.
Creation has a Creator just like a painting has a painter or a building has a builder.
Open your eyes and ears and run to Yahweh, the God of the Bible, and He will open His arms to recieve you.
Commendations! This should stun the creationist crowd a bit - I despise their use of the "evolution is just a theory" remark without even knowing the definition of a scientific theory.
your a dumbass if you dont know the diffrence hypothesis educated prediction thoery is a hypothesis that has been proven in many diffrent ways

in a nutshell, tested hypothesis may help to support a theory.

The best comment ever:
"Evolution is fairy tale for grownups."
This will go into my book. An all-time classic.

vislegis,
No, I meant evolution.
Evolution says that we came from a ROCK and all this began billions of years ago.
Christians, as I, believe that GOD created everything in 6 literal days about 6000 years ago.
