However in this case, it's negated due to the fact that it's never been asserted nor proven that Chapman ever raped Lennon as a child. Your 2nd premise is invalidated unless you can provide evidence that merely killing Lennon would, on it's face, provide a bullseye by which the other inmates would attack Lennon. Insofar there is little evidence to support your claim - sorry.
