@lexybexi Yes, it's the same person. Her name is Lea Salonga and she was also the singing voice of Mulan and Princess Jasmine from Aladdin. She's awesome.

Javert is so solid in this, and there is nothing like the dreamy look in Marius's eyes. I can't help but smile at two Disney princesses singing on stage together in Les Mis - pure magic <3

Actually, Nick Jonas didn't do too bad. I just feel like his "modern/pop" background sort of ruined it. If he had just started with Les Mis, or he had not done all the Disney stuff, then it would've been a lot better.

when i first became a les mis freak, i didn't know how to pronounce Enjolras's name, and the first thing that came to mind when i saw the name was enchiladas. (don't ask me why) so that's what my friends and i have called him to this day. we're nuts, i know.

I really dislike this Cosette. For one thing she's in her 40s playing a teenager and is nearly twenty years older than Ruthie Henshall, who played her mother, Fantine.

Young Cosette in this, however, was 100x better than the girl in the 25th anniversary edition, and so was most of the cast! :) x

I had heard of it but never gave it a thought. Plays and musicals never interested me.

Now i have seen it on youtube and will pay to see it

if it ever comes back to Boston. Im sure there are many more like me.

@SHM1953 If your statement is the same as it was nine months ago, Les Mis is going to be in Boston Tue 13 Mar - Sun 1 Apr 2012 at the Boston Opera House. Just figured I'd give you the heads up if you haven't been watching for it. Trust me, you will not regret seeing it live, it is amazing.
