I just want to say...

A) dubbing the mp3 over the video completely to hide bad playing is not cool... I would much rather have you use the cameras audio with the song playing in the background turned up louder than your amp to mask your playing, not completely get rid of it.

B) you're doing that guitar a dis-justice by playing crappy songs and power chords onit

There was no dubbing to "hide bad playing" lol have you seen how old this video is? i was learning how to mix my audio and video together. its a live stream of me playing in one take. the camera audio distorts when played straight up so the digitech was used to record straight into the computer as the mp3 was playing. genius....2nd, i REALLY enjoy your numerous videos of u playing guitar. oooh. wait. you have NOTHING BUT LAME PUNK @SS WoW videos

@bpstyle68 Watch some of the best rated guitar covers, you'll see they play the music in the background, not match the volume of the guitar. Not a bad cover but you're routinely missing the fret positioning on your slides. If you're going to cut someone's balls off for critisism, why are you posting videos on youtube? Breaking benjamin isn't exactly rocket science to play.

@Stiyl10 thanks for the comment. few things here: this video is very old as you can see from the upload date. as ive said before, this was one of my first attempts at home recording. also i am merely playing along with what i had already recorded & unless ur a robot u never play the same exact way twice, hence the diff in audio and visual at times. "cutt someones balls off" is not what happened. dude made a rude @s$ of himself so he got rude comments back. never said BB was rocket science at all

Decent job dude. You need a slide and the parts where you are palm muting those are phase outs.

It's perfect your axe has 2 volume knobs. Turn your neck pick-up all the way down. Now just flip your toggle to put the empty spaces in the riff.

The effect was probably put in post-production but that's the way I play it. With a lil practice I made it sound just like the cd.

So I'd like some info on how you set it up. What strings/sizes do you use? 13s? Also, did you have to widen anything on the nut or bridge to fit the bigger gauge strings? Thanks a bunch! :D

Not sure about Slipknot. But not, Bb is half a step down from B.

Slipknot plays in drop D 1.5 steps down, or drop B. this song is in drop A#/Bb, which is drop D 2 steps down. it's a semitone lower than Slipknot's main tuning. Also, the majority of BB songs are written in either drop C# or drop C (drop d half, and a full step down respectively)

This guitar is great all around!!! I've found that it is one of the easier guitars I have to play harmonics, etc. even with thicker strings and in a lower tuning. Its fantastic!!!!!

Thanks a lot!! Glad you enjoy it!! I used to have a fender squire back in the day lol. I played it through a Kustom amp. But if you're looking for a chunky sound, I'd go Line 6. (I'm partial to them because I have one haha) Depends on how much you want to spend, really.

Well it all depends really if you want to expiriment with loads of different sounds Id go for one of the cubes from the roland series, if you want chunky yet good recordable sound go for line 6, want a more heavy and extremely good quality (yet a price tag of atleast a 1000) go with marshall I could go on for hours like that...
