That's not it! If you don't know the truth, the truth will hide itself from you. Christianity has no clue of this whole chapter because of their stiff necks. Self righteousness does not mean one is righteous. Once a person abides by the complete law in the book, then shall his eyes be open, if not, he will continue in darkness and deception until his destruction. People who practice covering up truth can by no means use truth!
@harmono but some are saved by grace?? We are born into sin and are liars by nature, which no man should deny, but to be righteous to the Father redeems us from all sin. Wise men know that there is a process of becoming righteous. The Son has clearly outlined that for the whole world. Who is wise enough to see the meaning of this statement?... salvation is of Israel. When we understand something thoroughly, we understand beyond the words. This statement has meaning beyond the words.
@harmono Jude is speaking of the multitude of complainers here now. There are serious liars out and about that is showing Israel the time is near. They walk according to their ungodly lust. The scripture cuts them deep to the bone, but they are yet to receive this condemnation. I am talking about imposter making claims that are false and all that which Jude spoke of. Jude has prophecied to innermost thought of these men/people. Glory to YHWH
16 Just then a man came up to Jesus and asked, “Teacher, what good thing must I do to get eternal life?” 17 “Why do you ask me about what is good?” Jesus replied. “There is only One who is good. If you want to enter life, keep the commandments.” 18 “Which ones?” he inquired. Jesus replied, “‘You shall not murder, you shall not commit adultery, you shall not steal, you shall not give false testimony, 19 honor your father and mother,’[c] and ‘love your neighbor as yourself.’
