There is actually no product that can make your hair grow long but its all in keeping your hair healthy and manageable! Suave is definantly not a good product just by reading the label you can tell that! but I agree that it doesnt have to be that expensive!

I'm new to your channel and I can't help but to laugh at the shock everyone has over your BC. I had 14 inches of healthy relaxed hair when I did my BC in Feb '09. I was cursed out by my ex and one of my aunts screamed and jumped up out of her seat. My mom was also very upset but didn't say anything. I tried to transition but hated it! Sometimes, you just have to do what's best for you and listen only to yourself.

@mpoet21 you dont have to do anything if you dont want to. But for me I am very used to having extremely thick BIG hair... What was left of my hair was anything but that IMO. I hate thin hair and I Love my new short hair! Its thick again!!

Dido, on expensive products. Have you ever considered trying the S-Curl Activator? My hair falls to sleep girl, and my girl pattern pops. Or the Orange CFC activator works well too..

That's a cute style. I think we have the same texture or close to it but whenever I twist it like that it makes a REALLY tight coil. I think I'm gonna try it w/ the Smooth N' Shine whenever I get some .^_^.

AND...I didn't even know you were texturized...LOL! What made you decide to go ALL natural?? Congrats on the decision though!!!

I recently just cut off 6-8 inches of my own hair. Just wanted to regrow it in MORE healthy. THe 1st time I went natural...I definitely didn't know what I was doing and had lots of trial/error! My hair grew LONG..but patches of hair was just not as healthy as it could be so I CUT!

Im so shocked i can't believe you cut off 10 inches, thats basically the length I have now! I like the flat twists in the front, I may try something similar to that. Last time I wore flat twists going straight back and an older lady called me "young man" LOL

When my hair was tht length, every morning I just wet, squeeze out excess water apply conditioner, a tad of oil, give it a good shake an go. The less you manipulate the hair after you wet it the better. I do this still with it past my shoulders an you get great curls.
