This is the one i use..works every time..they always think their safe just because i couldnt get one on one...honestly my go to move on top is this one
Very interesting. I do nearly the exact same thing in judo when my opponent goes belly down. In judo, the kata gatame (arm triangle) holddown or choke is right there when you hit it :)
@angelafour Do you realize that a large portion of Judo technique and other martial arts come from wrestling? When cavemen first started fighting each other, even before they had weapons, do you think they went out and put each other in arm bars or rear naked chokes? No, they locked their hands around their opponents torsos, picked them up, and slammed them down on their goddamn heads. Judo, Akido, and Jiu-Jitsu may be fancier than wrestling, but don't you ever forget where it all came from.
@psychobomberninja they didnt come from wrestling bro. Wrestling is totally different. wrestling is western european. the rest is japanese, chinese, mixed... doesnt have to be from wrestling. picking someone up is common sense. mastering it, takes different methods..
@herrerambp Because western European cavemen are clearly the only beings on earth who ever created any type of wrestling. Do you honestly think that some Japanese guy stood up one day and said "Fuck it, I'm gonna go invent Judo today" if he had no background in any grappling martial arts? What I said is that EVERY grappling martial art is based off of some form of wrestling. Folkstyle, Freestyle, and Greco-Roman are not the only forms of wrestling that have ever existed.
That's pretty much what happened.... so someone couldn't have just though of the same thing, which is BASIC movement turned into a technique??? Like thowing a punch. Boxers throw different punches than someone who studied kung fu. Smh. I'm not arguing that someone stole something from someone else, all I'm saying is waking up and seeing normal body movement into a technique is exactly what happened, in different areas, creating basic fighting styles like wrestling and judo...
@psychobomberninja You need to also realize that modern day wrestling is not what cavemen did. Wrestling is a western art (greco, lanchire, folk, freestyle). Eastern Wrestling was similar but evolved into Judo, Akido, and jiu Jitsu. Martial arts are from all over the world and have many similar moves but don't forget that all martial arts have evolved differently.
BTW Cavemen probably beat the shit out of each other with bones and rocks
This works good I hit it all the time

this is something my school calls the half sucide craddle

Seems risky, someone can peel that hand off on the top and scissor kick to end up on top with a half locked on.
