Have you been sleeping for the last few years? Do you still not know that temperature rises first- then Co2. That the Co2 rises after a time lag of 600-800 years and that the rise in Co2 has more to do with the now 'non existant' middle age warm period? Do you know that at most man contributes 30% of world Co2? That Co2 makes up .04 of one percent of the total atmosphere so we are responsible for 30% of that? These are facts, you'd do well to check them out rather than political opinions!

Not exactly. We do a lot more damage to our planet because we don't use our brains. My dad always taught me to leave my campsite better than when I found it. But we just burn it and move on.
We have only been checking temperatures for less than 200 years, but the core samples we recover deep in the ice pack are a lot older than that. They go back to before the dinosaurs.

Thanks for your comments Bear. As you are probably aware if you live in Canada, that the Arctic icecap is expanding. In 1905 Roald Asmundsen traversed the NW passage in a flimsy sailing boat. He couldn't do that in the present conditions. So the obvious is that there is more ice in the Arctic than there was 100 years ago. The problem with facts is people who haven't done without electricity, indoor plumbing and indoor toilets. The average pampered North American has no idea about the Arctic.

News, not breaking, just old. Hubble Glacier in Alaska advancing 7 feet per day. Arctic icecap growing rapidly. In 1905 Roald Asmundsen bopped through the Arctic in a wooden sailing ship. Ice breakers needed today to pull that feat off. That's a 105 years ago when Roald went through, amazing how the Arctic ice has increased in that time. Another 100 years and the glaciers will be pushing over those skyscrapers in New York. Good riddance.
