sport fishing should be a crime, the fish feels the pain as the hook rips the insides of its mouth, people who fish for a sport should jump off a building, put urself in the reatures position, try to fight with a dumb human on a boat while having a hook ripping in insides of ur mouth.

He could just sit there all day and gut every single one that he got close to the boat.... Catch and release is considered to very good, not bad.

...teenagers caught a 320 lb stingray in Florida, took them 6 hours to pull it in....several people took turns........it just would lay on the sea bottom, off a bridge..neat shore.....finally they filled a bag with tobacco, sank the bag, and the stingray came up, they hate the tobacco odor...this was on NATIONAL GEOGRAPHIC channel......

i think or it is easier to catch it with the hands???

i say it because it takes much longer to pull it to the surface when you are using a rod (i base it to that when you hold it with your hands you can lean back and pull, smthng easier than trying to raise the rod up and then get the line back)

You are very welcome. When we use mono we use 400 or 600 pound test leader as main line. Here lately we just use cable.
