Who is this Lady? did you hear her appeal to people "Who Love the Supernatural" What does that mean? When I hear someone say or talk about the Supernatural, I think of Hollywood TV & movies, It reminds me of simply the fallen angels, Demons and the Demonic realm. Furthermore this lady is using a LOT of lingo that sounds like it is religious, but has NOTHING to say or point to the Gospel!!

That should be a warning to anyone!

Read Jude. A false teacher is one who speaks negatively of something they know nothing about. Teachers who speak evil of moves of the Holy Ghost are the ones we have to watch out for because they haven't provided a means for us to allow Holy Ghost to be strong in our lives. Read Todd Bentley's 376 page Testimony before you try to correct me on my approach to restoration! Anyone can Judge right away but God does not even do that to Us. Follow His Examples;-)

PS I wasn't correcting your approach to restoration but rather cautioning you against attributing a godly rebuke as an unpardonable sin. Rebuking and exhorting are the very steps we take before cutting a person off in the hope that they will see their error and repent. I just don't find a softly, softly approach in scripture. Gentleness is manifested by avoiding anger and threats not by lukewarm advice.

As I was listening to your video on several negative practices of Todd Bentley a question kept going thru my mind,"What are some Positive practices of his Ministry?"

I was reminded how Christ showed me 5 years ago how He Disciplined each of the 7 Churches in Revelations 2 and 3.He started off with the Positive Practices of the Church and Praises them on what was Pleasing to God.He would say,"I know your works,labor, patience and those you have tested and tried and found them to be Liars."

Then, Christ begins to exhort them about the Negative Practices of their Ministry. He would say,"I have a few things against you, try the false Prophets and Apostles, and put away the false doctrines, etc, being taught in the Church."

Then, He tells them how to correct the Problems; Be watchful,and strengthen the things which remain call to mind the lessons you received, lay them to heart and obey them, and Repent. Then, Christ gives each of them Promises that will be given to the Overcomers!

Just like the Spirit of Christ knew the positive and negative Practices of each Church in Revelation 2 and 3 He also knows the state of Every Ministry and Believer Connected to the Body of Christ today. Some of the Churches had some very sinful practices and Many False Doctrines.

Christ Jesus did not GIVE UP on ANY ONE of those Churches or Members but Convicted them of what needed to Change. Today, We should use the Examples of How the Spirit of Christ Compliments, Corrects and Encourages?

@MyGodIsEternal The mistake is in assuming that everybody who performs miracles is false based of this verse. You are ignoring the ones where Jesus clearly said that such signs will follow those who BELIEVE. Throwing the baby out with the water.

Everybody is running around saying that the Lord is giving them a word; and its this made up stuff in their mind. Don't get me wrong, I feel as if i am prophetic a lot, but i don't act presumptious as if I have a straight hook up with the Lord, like so many of these people are doing. I think it's very immature and like i said presumptious to operate this way. It just doesnt' ring right with me.

well sure but tere is rom for error. you dont have to operate that way. the spirit is subject to the prophets. but I tell you, i have had words for people like that that sound flaky and the person will just burst into tears because the word is soo right and i have received soo many right words too.There are goofy chistians that make us all look bad. But dont let the mistakes others make push you away from the experiences God wants you to have. This is what Satan wants.

Remember God chose the foolish things of the world to confound the wise. I am new to a lot of this stuff though I have been a christian for nearly 30 years and its all good. The words that keep coming to my spirit are , "Test the Spirits because not al spirits are of God" and "The spirit is sbject to the prophets". Knowing this, I would rather be involved with a group f people who allow the gifts to move. Just because there is room for error doesnt mean we shouldnt move in this way.

and just becasue it rubs you te wrong way and doesnt sit well in your spirit frankly doesnt mean that its wrong. I dont mean this in a relative sense but when we are uncomfortable with certain doctrines that are biblical it is the enemy messing with us and stealing ministries from us. Dont be wary. Read the book of 1 Corinthians. This is why that book was written. Not that we shouldnt move in gifting. But that YES mistakes can be made because emotions can run high

If you learn the word you will learn to avoid errors. I believe GOd wants you to move in this gifting in a powerful way. And moving in the prophetic is SO awesome because I am telling you, maybe someone is saying something goofy about eating at mc donalds but its still a ministry. Remember there are different kinds of words. Some are words of knowledge and some are encouragement and edificationn. Your McDonalds line is the latter. And its OK.

An Apostle is never called to be one by their own authority or that of any person. God sets apostles in the church. Theologians say that after the death of the last Apostles that there are no more Apostles. They can't prove it but that are satisfied in their opinion that there aren't any Apostles anymore. Simply, an Apostle is one sent by God to be a bold, effective wisdom of what they have seen and experienced of Christ. They lay the foundation of the church on biblical principles of truth.

I would say so...seems to me one of the requirements of an apostle was that they had to have SEEN Jesus...as all of the apostles did...even Saul/Paul who saw him on the Damascus Road.  Just seems like people today want to give themselves these titles...Seems a little presumptious if you ask me.

hmm..... the bible doesnt teach that..Apostle just means one who is sent. Jesus has manifested to many people after the book of acts so by your reasoning they would all be apostles and this is not so. It comes from Rome. When rome would conquer city, they would romanize it and then leave. Returning to it at a later time the people would have reverted back to their old culture. So they set up apostles to stay and teach the culture the ways of the government; How to be romans. Get the connection?

I would have to study this more, but from memory i was thinking one has to SEE Jesus; of course a lot of people are going to claim they have seen Jesus...but i need to study this more. But I am def. suspicious of those who give themselves such an authoritative title.

well, the thing is there is still an idea of this hierarchy in the church that really doesnt exist. It is God the Father, Jesus, then the chruch.. We are the church. To call ourselves CHRISTIAN is authoritative. Apostolic is just a ministry. This idea of Clergy and Laity comes from the roman catholic church. You wont find it in the bible.

International House of Prayer...formerly the Kansas City Prophets They have linkage to the Vineyard movement. Im just studying the movement as the "movement" has recently taken over my church Very much into proclaiming themselves prophets and that they don't have to be 100% correct in their "prophesies" all the time..which of course they are never correct in their prophecies 100% of the time. Anyhow, i am going to start studying the movement more, as i have some serious concerns about them.

yeah many of my friends are in this movement.. And I have had AMAZING prophetic words and experiences. Look, prophecy is for today and it is biblical. There is an encouragement that people learn to use their gifting. Its not making themselves to be something. Paul said that "YOU may ALL Prophesy" SO I just accept it.We are under grace.If someone makes a mistake they are under grace. If we werent under grace we would all be in a lot of trouble. You can prophecy to if you have the holy spirit.

yeah, i agree with your very last sentence, but only in the context that we,yes, we are all prophetic as Christians. We are prophetic when we give an encouraging word to someone, etc, or when we pray for somebody...but what i see happening, is tons of people saying things like: "I have this IMAGE of you eating a fruit salad now instead of eating mcdonalds...the Lord is pleased with this; you will go on to eat even better food of the Word of God in the coming weeks." OK, see this is the flaky
