  • The piece is incredibly sentimental and beautiful, and this interpretation is just impeccable; a masterpiece.

  • @iadlaws Wes had a truly blessed soul...thank god he chose to concentrate on guitar when he was already 19 yrs old....imagine if he started at 5 or 6. well probably wouldnt have mattered since he was a genius anyway....god bless Wes and all his fans too.

  • What an incredible piece, Thank God for Jobim and Wes Montgomery ...

  • 2 dislikes... wow .. I mean what were these people looking for? garbage? because they certainly didn't find it here..

  • @zn37 No accounting for TASTE! A boor is a boor and always will be. Just ignore these morons. Its their loss!

  • did he do any other Jobim cause this is great

  • ahhhh.. wunderbar!

  • wes, please save me from this insensitive world of jazz an music posers. i regard your chops as almost omnipotent. fly me to the moon and keep me swingin on a star.

  • @bigkittysmile You are soooooooo right!

  • Perfect story telling quality unlike those who use technical data mainly due to lack of the ability to tell compelling stories besides wanting record deals and limos.

  • one of my favorite wes solos

  • The ads at the beginning just shit all over this song. -__-

  • 2 insensitive people? : )

  • this is lovely. wes has been a favorite.

  • THE WES IS THE BEST !

  • still bumpin

  • purest heaven this side of eternity!

  • I can't think of the phrase "jazz guitar" without my mind in the blink of an eye displaying a reference for that phrase by way of an image of Wes Montgomery!

Out of a countless number of jazz greats Wes' skills are the chops I'd like most to possess.

  • OK well there's 2 insane people who viewed this ~ my daddy used to listen to Wes, so I grew up on it... simply marvelous

  • @GreenCures (it's me again) OH ~ and strings in the background? that's what I'm talkin bout

  • @GreenCures Belissimo!

  • Bello! Is Ron Carter on bass? Thanks

  • Perhaps the violins are superflous, but this version is absolutely insuperable.

  • THE MASTER...Wes not only is playing the guitar...he is sharing his soul with us.....

  • Oh, God, this is Heaven! When I get there I want to hear Wes playing this exquisite song by ACJ. Long live the bossa nova. Lovely, sweet and tender music from one of the finest composers to have ever gifted us...

  • nobody disliked this...

    but how some one could?

  • One of if not the greatest jazz guitarists of all time. Wes made the octave licks classic style, and embellished his unique renditions with rich arangements. I treasure all of the works from this fine musician, another master lost to this world with so much remaining to give.

  • Yeaaa......

  • After 4 years,,, I finally found this one! Tkx a lot for it!

  • @ just superb splendid !

  • some years listening insensatez and i find it so powerful and deep. this rates very high for me, His electric jazz guitar, the strings, the drums.10 to the power of 10.

  • This is the best arrangement..hands down! OMG!

  • I never seen any videos over the views of 10.000 have no dislike, at all.

this is the first! it broke the record!

crazy stuff... this music is way too stunning... heard it at a cinema before the movie was playing... so curious, SoundHound-ed it.. and I discovered Wes Montgomery now!

  • wow

  • Wes, you had the chops! That thumb will be immortalized forever!

  • Ah man, i was just typing "n people are insensitive", but i can see that 0 people dislike this masterpiece. So it's not all ended, thank God.

  • @ciolamorta it' impossible I think,is like to fight with your own shadow

  • @ciolamorta

Call me insensitive if you like...but the arr. is awful; on the level of elevator musak. And I don't like the tempo or feel.

It has no Brasil spirit at all.

  • @Rexicano Dude ...do you play guitar??? or any other instrument for that matter? You have no clue about great musical expression.....so to you any slow tempo song is EM?? Get a life..maybe when you're 65 you'll understand!

  • @paulyrulo1

Fuck off you pathetic lump of shit and quiot squealing like a little bitch.

Go back and listen to the BeeGees and Steely Dan and sucking off yer mates.
